M A K Unisex Hair Salon closed

My daughter had her hair cut and styled here. Was made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Would definitely recommend and will be returning

So glad I came across this salon. I’ve not had my hair cut for a couple of years. The staff are lovely and friendly and the prices are very good. I will definitely be a regular customer here.

Honestly couldn’t fault this place! Such a lovely atmosphere and I’ve always been very pleased when I’ve had my hair done here. Would recommend to anyone!!

My friend was left with green hair after two balayage appointments, ripped off of over £200 and then only offered a brown dye back over the top to fix it, no money back. Her hair was completely bleached twice, not the correct process for what was needed. Do not go here. Spend your money elsewhere as you won't get what you want, unless that's green, broken hair. If I could leave 0 stars I would. AVOID.Please see the message below from the owner (months after the review was left might I add), I cannot reply to this but her hair has been left broken and damaged and completely spoilt. They are saying her hair wasn't green, it was and we have pictures of this. No salon with any level of expertise would bleach bath hair on the top that is already near the colour that was already desired, let alone charge the absolute fortune she was for the dissatisfaction. She simply needed highlights and this to be continued to reach the desired effect.Offering a colour and olaplex is not the solution to this poor level of service and lack of knowledge, yet again please AVOID at all costs.

I booked my daughters in for their first proper haircuts and my eldest’s first highlights.The staff were lovely from booking to the day. The girls love their hair, I’m very impressed with the cuts. They were made to feel special and had a fab experience. I would highly recommend.

I had not been to a hairdressers for some years as i did not really find 1 i felt comfortable in until a couple of years ago when i found mak hair. They are so friendly and highly professional. Great colourist and stylists. Very reasonably priced too.

Absolutely fantastic salon and barbers. Very friendly staff and excellent results. My son is fussy when it comes to his hair and he was really pleased with his hair cut. I would recommend it to anyone.
