The decor of Henry's Haunt is mental! There's everything you'll need for a stay, it's lovely, comfy and clean and the showers superb. Beware tho as the hot tub/garden is not as private as we thought it would be so we were a little uncomfortable when using it. Saying that the view outback from it is incredible.

Wonderful stay - all really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Toto loved his welcome barksket and we loved the prosecco - thanks so much. Fab hot tub under the stars. Loved it.

Had a weekend away with friends, perfect location and everything we had planned was easy to get to from here. The place itself is stunning, the cottages are well equipped with what we needed, with a gift left for us in the fridge, very appreciated thank you. The only little niggle I had was we had booked the pool and sauna area for 9.30am however the sauna wasn't on, we had to switch it on meaning it didn't fully warm up. May have been a one off but if you are to pre book then it should really be ready.Would recommend these cottages and also dog friendly.

We stayed in The Chapel and would throroughly recommend it. Beautiful location and amazing hot tub. Lovely old building.Do consider bringing your own pullows though as the single pillow per bed provided were rather poor quality.

We booked Hartle and Cockaynes for a group of friends the weekend just gone. My partner and I were staying in ‘Hartle’ but only stayed one of the two nights. Bed was really uncomfortable and we were only given one pillow each and they were paper thin. Ended up using some of the cushions from the settee as pillows but we still had a dreadful nights sleep. The lock on the main door of Hartle is currently broken and secured by an ugly bike lock, meaning the accommodation can’t be locked whilst inside which was unsettling. Both Hartle and Cockaynes were freezing, radiators were not sufficient to heat the rooms with high ceilings. Water pressure was very poor, shower was just a trickle. On a positive, Cockaynes was well equipped and laid out well, the hot tub was good (although quite cold) facilities of the site ie games room and swimming were good for entertaining the kids. We would return to these cottages, but not in the winter and wouldn’t stay in Hartle again. Would have been a nice touch for both places to have wood burners too!

We had a lovely week. More or less everything you need was available and any time we needed help from staff they were quick and extremely helpful. We loved how much there was to do on site and the accommodation was lovely. Nice welcome gift for the humans and the dog as well! This didn’t define the holiday but the WiFi isn’t the strongest and didn’t cover everywhere (The Barn).

We stayed in Henry's Haunt for 3 nights . We have nothing but good feed back about our stay . With one exception ! ...the decor . ( In my opinion takes away from the idyllic situation of the property). However if you can get past the idea that it looked like someone has payed homage to Bet Lynch then this place is a great bolt hole. The kitchen is small but we'll equipped. The lounge is a small but perfect space to watch TV on an evening . The bed is comfy and the bathroom is plush although the shower could do to be a tad hotter . The hot tub was nice and warm at 38°c. With lovely views . Dogs are allowed .There is a pool which is slightly cold at first and works on an hourly session that is booked 24 hours before . After some investigation we found it was ok to take the dog to the pool side as pets are not allowed to stay in the property alone. We were gifted prosecco and bakewell tarts on our arrival to the property .Perfect location to visit the Derbyshire Dales . Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful place for all the family to enjoy. It felt as though we were in an old castle with the design of the place and there was plenty of space for hosting gatherings. On the negative side, the hot tub itself wasn't great. Otherwise, a superb stay

Family celebration of 10 adults and 6 children. The Barn had 6 ensuite bedrooms, 5 of which can be doubles or twins and 1 fixed double. Lolly the housekeeper and Steve the maintenance man both very helpful with any requests, handled very quickly and efficiently. Fantastic view from the living room picture window. Ideal for walkers. Well equipped games room and good swimming pool. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a week staying in Priesthill, a lovely little place. Everything was clean, had treats for us and our dog. The kitchen had everything you would need. There is a swimming pool which you can book for an hour a day, as the dog is not to be left on their own unless crated, we took it in turns to use the pool and sauna. We had a hot tub and outside on grass there was table tennis. It was lovely to see the cows in the field. I would highly recommend this place.
