Extremely rude staff. With the exception of the woman that actually fitted the bulb who was both very polite and professional. The first female assistant I spoke to just shouted im busy speak to Beth, other customers even laughed at her response. When I did finally get to the counter the young man was equally rude, he took my order and just said wait outside, someone will be with you in a minute. 10 minutes later I came back into shop spoke to the first rude woman, who repeated someone will be with you shortly, I said I was told that 10 minutes ago. The woman that fitted the bulb (i think this was Beth) came out immediately and apologised for the delay. Truly poor experience. Would have been 1 star were it not for Beth.

Great service, very helpful. We went to Kwik fit first, we desperately needed a new battery for our campervan they just didn't want to know. Halfords staff in contrast were extremely helpful and friendly and sorted us out without any fuss. Thank you Halfords and Jacob.

Fantastic service.Had a broken sensor on my e-bike. Repaired and in perfect working condition with a few short days.

I received an email confirmation saying that my item was available for collection. I then drove for two hours after work to collect it and the item wasn't there. After waiting for half an hour whilst two members of staff where chatting and messing around they confirmed they didn't have my item. After asking the staff how they were going to make things right they told me that I would have to wait a further two days for my item. The staff then proceeded to be rude to me, one of them complaining about having to look for my item. I reminded them that looking for my item was their job, and they then acused me of being rude and said they would be canceling my order, without my permission no less. At no point throughout this interaction was any apology offered and the lack of accountability and professionalism was appalling.

Front light bulb went in my car yesterday so took it to Halfords Lewes Rd this morning. Very impressed with the efficient and polite service provided by Julian the technician to sort this out and also other checks on the car.

Great service when replacing my battery at Halfords today. Easy from ordering to fitting. Staff were friendly and helpful with Julian being an absolute star getting the battery in (and it wasn't easy!). So glad I chose to use the fitting service as wo u ld have struggled by myself.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Took my bike in for a brake bleed and was told it’d be ready the same day. 8 days later, with multiple phone calls (99% unanswered by store), multiple promises to call me back which never happened, and multiple excuses ranging from “awaiting parts” to “we lost your bike and forgot to do it” to “it’ll be done in the next 2 days” to now “it’ll be done by Sunday and we’ll call you” which I seriously doubt. Having my property for almost 2 weeks with no communication and seemingly no desire to repair it is ridiculous. Save your money and time and take it somewhere else for repair. Seriously disappointing and frustrating lack of service or communication. Won’t be using any services here again.

I had a great experience at this store, thanks to River. He spent an hour kitting out my new bike and making adaptations where something wouldn’t quite fit properly, so that I now have all the accessories on the bike that I need. He was a really nice guy, very skilled and patient, and he explained everything to me thoroughly, so I’m really pleased. Highly recommended.
