Went shopping here recently towards the end of the evening to pick up a nonessential item that my heavily pregnant wife had a sudden and unexpected craving for.As it was towards the end of their working day and I suspect that the employees wanted me and the other late night shoppers to leave an announcement was made with the intention of getting me to hurry up.Seconds after this announcement was made I was plunged into darkness in another apparent attempt to speed my shopping experience! I was most displeased about this return to a medieval style of illumination that I almost said something to a member of staff, but alas, I thought that would be too much excitement for one day so simply left.Good deal on carrots at the moment.

Just came to do my mum's weekly shop, we tried to get the wheelchair basket to move unfortunately the wheels were locked.Nice clean store, helpful staff

Nice big shop. Parking is good, spaces are big. Shop is well set out inside. Good range of stock. Staff helpful and friendly. Overall a good shop! Lindor pick and mix is cool. Handy having an argos as well, as a lot of sainsburys have. Bottle bank for glass recycling was full to bursting when I was there.

Not been here for a long time, very good layout. The only downside in using the self checkout is that you have to scan your receipt to get through the barriers but I suppose that if you did it regularly then it wouldn't be a problem

I like the store as it has a good range of products and is cheaper now.The exception is the poor state of the customer toilets. I've been on at the management since April to get them cleaned up & kept clean. Some improvement: some nice new white Clean" bins apeared & for a couple of weeks they had charts showing when toilets were checked. I don't know what the checked for. White bins haven't been cleaned. Yuck!Head office will be on the case & should get all sorted soon."

Good selection of items available. However we observed couple of major issues. We don’t usually buy items from the bakery as sugar is not good for health etc. decided to give it a try yesterday as we noticed a few price reductions. On 2 of 3 items with new price reduction tags we were charged full price! What’s the point of tagging yellow labels when you want to charge full price. Felt deceived and never had this kind of experience in competitor supermarkets. C’mon Sainsbury’s - every little helps !

Bit busy but think it's due to the time of year. Sainsburys is our favourite shop round here, seems to be cheaper and more reasonable than some of the lower end supermarkets nowadays!
