Best haircut I've had in years from Gavin, and I just walked in off the street wondering if they could fit me in. I gave him a pretty tough brief but they were both brilliant and I love my hair. Definitely coming back.

I love this place. The fact they charged based on the cut I wanted rather than my gender meant I got the best ever cut at half the price I've paid elsewhere. They also perfectly balance proper listening to what you want with giving informed advice. Knowledgeable and interesting people. Strong recommend!

I've had my hair cut by Gavin for around 15 years and there's a reason why I haven't strayed. Great chap, very attentive, easy to talk to and always provides a great cut. The atmosphere in the shop has always been comfortable and welcoming. Also had my hair cut from Stu when I arrived at the wrong time and, again, cannot fault the experience. A great partnership. Cannot recommend this place enough. Great with my young son too when he had his hair cut.

Have not had my hair professionally cut in over 6 years as I can find it uncomfortable but Gavin was so nice and made me feel very at ease. From consultation till the end, he asked all the right questions and really listened to me to make sure what I was getting was exactly what I wanted. He explained what he was doing and how it'd benefit my hair and it is obvious that he has a wide depth of knowledge and a passion for what he does. Would definitely recommend Renowned Salon and I will be back at some point! (hopefully sooner than 6 years this time) My fear of being in the hairdressing seat has definitely been lifted, thanks Gavin!

Highly recommended! This the best haircut I've had over the past nine months in Exeter. When you moved to a new place, it's always difficult to find a hairdresser who can really understand what you want, care about what you want and deliver as you expect. Fortunately, I tried renowned salon! Gavin is definitely a professional, experienced, considerate and trustworthy hairdresser. I enjoyed the time and service that I booked with! I was also impressed by Gavin's philosophy of charging the clients based on the time, rather than on their genders.

I got my hair cut and highlighted here and absolutle love the end result! Stu and Gav are very professional and friendly and the new salon has a great atmosphere and in a very convenient location in town. Would definitely recommend ladies cuts and colour.

Gav and Tom are just fab - they’re both very welcoming and attentive. The salon has a really lovely atmosphere and I often feel as if I’m spending an hour chatting with friends when I go in for my haircuts. I’ve never left the salon unhappy with whats been done - I’ve always been wowed with the results!
