Absolutely awesome bar, sitting on the terrace if you shut your eyes you could be in the Carribbean. Really friendly and chatty barman. Could easily spend the whole night here just chilling with friends and having a few drinks. And there is a huge amount of drinks of all types to choose from. You are literally spoilt for choice. If you visit the Gorge you deffinately have to stop here for a drink. Or just go to the Gorge for this bar!

I don’t know if On The Rocks does food, but I went in with my son on Saturday afternoon. My son had a cocktail and I had a coffee. The place had a good atmosphere even that early. We decided to stay in Cheddar and spontaneously booked the Cheddar Bridge campsite. We then went to the Bath Arms for a meal before returning to On The Rocks for a few drinks. This place has a great atmosphere and must be the place to be in sleepy Cheddar. I would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return to the area.

We spent a lovely family day up in Cheddar, went to the caves etc and popped into here for a drink. Cocktails were very well made and perfectly balanced. Thanks Jamie. The staff were friendly and helpful. We sat outside and the music and atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely be visiting again.They don’t serve food but are very happy to support the local businesses and allow their food on the premises, which is lovely.

No food but amazing cocktails! And atmosphere is awesome as well.. iEven if i did get stranges looks for dancing from the other patrons. Haha.

Lovely cocktails unfortunately met at the entrance by two unenthusiastic staff. Arms folded and one vaping. We were a group of 7 and left to find our own table and then having to go to the bar to order our cocktails. We did however enjoy our cocktails.

What a fabulous find this cocktail bar is. Popped in for one and stayed for hours!! Superb decor, friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
