I went in the morning so got breakfast meal. Porridge with jam, pancakes with syrup and also a egg muffin meal with a latte.All the Food was fresh and very tasty as you would expect.Sitting area was clean an staff are nice an friendly.If you passing by Darwen an need a pit stop these services are great and also other restaurant choices.

Parking for hgv's requires you to reverse in.There are only a limited number of spaces.But facilities are clean and a basic range of good shops. ( They have a Greggs)

If lucky to get a truck parking spot, occasionally I've had to head straight out again if all allocated lorry bays are taken, then it's an ok little services. Clean, comfortable and safe. The usual vendors on site. Praise to Greggs for consistently being efficient and customer focused. Petrol station staff a bit frosty regarding taking photos but it's not illegal so I told them to mind their own business in exactly the same frosty attitude they used on me. Don't be put off buying fuel as I suppose they were wondering if I was a building inspector.

Clean, welcome stop-off. A nice feeling about these services to our surprise. Arrived at 10am on a Friday morning. The car park was quite full but the services wasn't (maybe commuters leave cars there?).Costa, noodle bar, Greggs and McDonald's were quiet and clean.The only negative was McDonald's. They served me a poor meal, the staff I spoke to were disinterested and the replacement took ages.Apart from that, a nice place to stop of on a long journey.

Draughty,toilets havent been working for weeks .all the different food places are dearest in area.also the asda in blackburn is a lot dearer than bolton so how come .

Unfortunately the showers are really not kept well, definitely the one I used. You need to ask for a code to get in. The floor was still pooled with yellowish water around the drain hole, there really needs to be some cleaning items left in here so it can be cleaned between uses. Also the vent does not come on so by the time you’re finished and dressed you end up feeling soggy as wet again. Be quick, bring shower shoes.
