Kames Hotel

My family had a fantastic meal the fish was fresh and the portions were huge and we struggled to have a dessert, but we did, staff were also very good.

Lovely place for dinner or quiet drink. Food is excellent and the hotel is beautifully decorated and maintained. Lovely views over the Kyles of Bute and welcoming friendly staff.

Stopped off for lunch while exploring the area. We had struggled to find anywhere open on a Tuesday. Great gluten free options on the menu with a good variety of different things to choose from. I enjoyed my gluten free burger immensely, and it would have probably been dairy free also although I didn’t check that. staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite. Views are absolutely stunning

Brilliant meal at Kames Hotel. Delicious food, generous portions, cosy welcoming atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff who were very kind to my wee girl and our family's dog. Lovely place, would recommend.

Stayed for 5 very nights. Stunning location for scenery and coastal walk. Top class breakfast, evening meals and the owners & staff are great. Highly recommended.

No beer or sweet rose meals were very big, just did not want to eat with dogs sitting on chairs or tied to table leg in dining room. WiFi not good.

The Kames hotel, me and the Wife have just spent four night at this fantastic hotel, the rooms are very spacious and well kept, all of the staff including the owners Scott and Irene are very helpful and friendly, the food, I honestly thought they had Gordon Ramsay in the Kitchen but they assured me he wasn't, it was some guy called Scott who is obviously a very good Cook/Chef, we had a Verity of meals over the four days and all were top notch, I only took a couple of photos, the Lamb Belly and the sticky toffee pudding, but if you like deserts try the homemade cheesecake, it's incredible, anyway if the owners read this review it's a big thanks from Matt and Tracey for a truly lovely stay.

We had a night away with a group of friends. Great food and service with wonderful views. Thanks again for all your hard work.
