St Mary's Church
A beautiful church that forms the centrepiece of this small local community, St. Mary's is a calm, safe and powerful space for the individual who feels the need to connect to something a little greater.Standing amongst the fine array of glazing, stonework and excellent wood carvings, one really feels connected to the wider message, regardless of your faith. The more you explore, the more you will find fascinating oddities and features about the church and its grounds. The church and its yard are lovingly tended and must be visited by anybody with an interest in churches, rural England generally and medieval architecture. As somebody raised in an atheist culture, stepping into a church for many years was, personally, a highly intimidating prospect however the reverend and wardens couldn't be more accommodating and welcoming. You can't afford to not visit.
