Orjenise - Declutter and Home Organisation

We had tried many times to declutter but always ran into problems. Jenn helped us to overcome these with her experience, creativity, and highly effective systems of organisation.We wanted to declutter and clear out our garage completely to make space for an office. With three young kids, we had also started to feel like our lovely house was just too small. Jenn started off with a video call to assess the situation and understand our objectives.Next, Jenn spent a day with us as we worked through all the things that were taking up space. We first took everything out of the garage and started to sort into collections of things that we really wanted to keep and things we wanted to sell or give away.This involved letting go of items that we didn’t really use or need, but for all sorts of reasons we had held onto, through multiple house moves and previous attempts to declutter. Jenn had a very good understanding of these reasons, and sympathetically helped us to work through some difficult decisions in order to reach our objectives.Jenn then helped us to implement logical systems for organising the things we wanted to keep. By the time this was done, we had cleared the garage and also completely reorganised our small kitchen in such a way that it felt ten times bigger. We also started to organise and declutter our downstairs living areas.At the end of the day Jenn helped remove some of the lower value items to donate to the charity shop, and gave us some pointers on how to sell the others and realise lots of extra cash to go towards fitting out our new office.We were amazed at the progress made in just one day. Most importantly, our space was starting to look neater and tidier in a way that wasn’t just ‘cosmetic’. Things were starting to find their natural homes and fit our lives in a very sustainable way. We have now started falling back in love with our house.Jenn followed up with a few emails to offer some advice to maintain the new systems and to continue improving our space. We have been inspired to keep working on the rest of the house and we plan to invite Jenn back soon to help us work on our upstairs space.

Jenn from Orjenise swept in to my cluttered house like a reassuring and supportive whirlwind, getting through years worth of chaos in a day and a half. My wardrobe was a priority and her no-nonsense but understanding approach towards someone with a history of 'hanging on to stuff' was perfectly pitched. Two huge estate car loads of stuff went to the Charity Shop, everything that stayed was given a home and I felt like a new woman. She followed up with an email of tailored helpful tips and moral support - and while I can't go so far as to say I am totally reformed, I do think a little bit differently when it comes to keeping things I don't need or buying things I don't need. She's brilliantly unphased, kind and also great fun to spend a day with. (PS she won't make you throw everything away)

I’ve tried to declutter and organise my house in the past and not only end up giving up part way through, but I don’t put a helpful system in place and so the house ends up disorganised again before too long and the cycle repeats. Jenn is brilliant at putting bespoke organisational systems in place that are simple and easy so you keep using them, and having a fresh perspective on everything helps you get where you need to be in a fraction of the time. It also keeps you on track and accountable so you can’t do a half-arsed job. I did 2 x 2 day blocks with Jenn and we managed to sort out a large 5 bed house including a very cluttered cellar, 4 kids rooms and 20 year old paperwork. Doing it together turned a job I was dreading into 4 fun and super productive days. Jenn is the loveliest company whilst also being amazing at what she does. Sounds a bit dramatic but it’s had a huge effect on my mental load and I love being able to find things/put clothes away/tidy up in a fraction of the time. It’s honestly some of the best money I’ve ever spent.

Jenn came for a few days to help organise after a house move and has been back for some half days to ‘reset’. She helped make the most of the space and storage we have and we notice the difference everyday. Jenn is wonderful and great fun to work with. Cannot recommend enough! Thanks Jenn!

Highly recommend Jenn’s work. She brings a new perspective to your home. Jenn helped me sort out our kitchen storage which had evolved over many years and didn’t have a system which worked. I feel as if a weight has lifted. She’s also a pleasure to spend time with and I’ve raved about her to all my friends.

She's like some kind of super speedy magician!!Honestly, I am so impressed with Jenn's unpacking & organising skills.Since I moved house with chronic illnesses, I was so unbelievably overwhelmed, stressed & depressed. I didn't know where to start, & knew I didn't have the strength or energy to start the unpacking & sorting by myself.Jenn came over and completely blitzed it!Also her friendliness, kindness, & warm personality was also a pleasure to be around.I felt totally safe &And comfortable with her in my home & with my child's & i's belongings.
