Reception staff have once again cancelled my children's we have added medical reason why regular check up are needed to be safe. The appointment was cancelled due to ANOTHER dentist leaving this awful practice.Advice we were given on the phone when the extra care requirement was informed to them was Not sure what i can do all I'm here for is to cancel your appt and to probably to go private instead". Very helpful not AVOID! Search reviews from last 6 months mostly all 1 star.Living in weston

Had to go into Houstons because no one was answering my calls. I asked to book a family checkup only to be told our dentist has left. We only saw her earlier this year for treatment. They don't have anyone else we can register with so we just have to sit and wait and hope they can employ someone else. I was also told emergencies have a wait of 2-3 months. The surgery used to be so vibrant with all the reception posts manned and never being able to park in the car park. When I went in today only one desk was filled and easy to park. I would give the surgery no stars but have given one due to the helpful receptionist who was very clear with all the information.

When I can get a Dentist, they're amazing. But it's been over 2 yrs since I last went due to my new Dentists leaving before my appointment and them having to Cancel them, which isn't their fault,it happens...and my teeth are ok no pain luckily, its a nationwide problem not just here.Just phoned to double-check I'm still an NHS patient,I am still....she was lovely( didn't get a name) and she told me once they have a replacement they will call me. Nothing more to add they're doing their best in very challenging times.

I have had an appointment booked since June, to pop in to check details regarding my dental appointment in a couple of weeks, to be told that my appointment has been cancelled. No effort to be informed was made and the receptionist was unbelievably rude and unhelpful, almost confrontational and visually irritated. I have been attending the clinic for over ten years and the dental care and service has always been exceptional. Extremely poor service from receptionist.

Typical of the way the NHS patients are treated. Cancel an appointment with no reason and told they can't see you for another 6 months which means that is 18 months without seeing a dentist. Dreadful. Will always be someone else's fault and not theirs. They used to be good but have gone downhill so much recently. I am sure they are only really interested in their well paid private work.

Once a good practice but not now. I am in agony with pain but emergency appointments have a 2-3 month wait (this is emergency). I waited over a year for a 6mth checkup and back in March told the new dentist (who has already left - that says something) about my pain but nothing was done. My regular dentist of 12 years left and now the place is a shambles. All they do is blame the NHS and 'the pandemic' for the total poor management and why dentists keep leaving. Unfortunately other practices are not taking new patients. Such poor management will of course result in their demise and thousands will be without dental treatment.

From Alison Stewart: I saw Dr Ameer who is a qualified dentist but helping with hygienist appointments at present. I cannot praise this man highly enough. This is the only time I have had an hygienist appointment where I have able to tolerate the water floss. A few jumps for sensitivity but 10 times better than in the past. The numbing gel seemed to work better this time too. A charming and talented dentist. I would recommend him unreservedly. And the receptionist was just lovely too - helped me find my way to the bus back to Congresbury!

Until now I would have given 5 stars. Service has always been suburb but I am shocked that this is even legal.I spent almost an hour before someone answered the phone. I am an NHS patient, and I needed to see someone about a tooth that's giving me trouble. Amy eventually answered and told me there is no NHS appointments, said I should go away and then hung up the phone! No advice, no clarity just no. So disappointed in them and frustrated they can get away with it so openly.

Great years ago but recently have been really really poor! My sons aged 8 and 6 (6 year old hasn't even seen them yet as they cancelled before he even saw them!) haven't been seen in a year after 3 cancelled appointments and after calling recently to book them in YET AGAIN, I get told that the earliest they can do is January. My 8 year old is now suffering some tooth problems and I've tried to get him in, he is experiencing pain and they can't fit him in till November? An 8 year old child in pain has to wait 2 months to see someone for 15 minutes? Appalling service! Me and my husband have been waiting to get back on the books for 3 years now since they bumped us off after a long period of no bookings due to Covid, like it was something we had control over?I'm absolutely disgusted with the way my poor son is being treated!!!I advise everyone to stay clear and find another dentist because this one is the worst I've been to for getting an appointment. You won't ever be seen so don't bother. No wonder the staff don't last long there!!

This used to be good dentist about 20 years ago before they got too ambitious, even in the past few years they managed to get appointments in an emergency. They have always treated their nhs patients as 3rd class customers placing them with inexperienced dentists right out of school with poor skills but now they dont even have any nhs dentists available? Sad sign of the times. Hopefuly Cerys and co will get a grip back of the business and provide good customer care once more.
