I am 16 years old and on several occasions i have tried to buy paracetamol from tesco and have not been sold it. It is due the fact i dont have the holographic part on my young scot card. This is purely because i keep it in my purse/the back of my phone so it has rubbed off over the years. Every other supermarket (including pharmacys) has accepted my young scot card as ID and i think this is completely unfair as it is medication.

I like this store but I purchased wrapping paper the other day and they stuck stickers on it that tore the paper when I tried to remove them. Some common sense is needed

I buy my school lunch here everyday, multiple times I have tried to buy paracetamol but it hasn’t been accepted due to the fact my young scot card doesn’t have the holographic bit on it due to the fact it has rubbed off overtime, which doesn’t mean I am lying. I think this is absolutely ridiculous as why would I be using fake ID for medication, I go to school across the road and I am in S5 which majority of my year is 16, if I can use my young scot’s card for a bus then why can’t I use it for paracetamol, I don’t understand what other kind of ID they expect me to use my passport? why would I bring that to school.

Have been coming here for many years. All staff are polite and cannot do enough. Lost articles have been found and there is a system in place. Very impressed. As I am shrinking in height I need assistance to reach items now. First class service and I really enjoy the quality of meat and fruit. Great prices with yr club card. Thank you all backroom staff too.

Very friendly and helpful staff but the quality of fresh fruit and veg is really poor. You can buy something with a best before date of a week in the future and go home and find it to be old and already decaying. A lot of the fruit and veg looks alright on the outside but when you cut into it it's basically white inside, lacking all the decent nutrients: strawberries and carrots in particular. It's my local shop so I'll often need to pick fruit and veg up out of convenience but if I've got the time I'd go further up the road to Aldi which does have superior fruit and veg. Overall it's a good store with great staff but the quality of the fresh produce really lets it down, this is probably an issue with Tesco the company rather than this particular store.

hi i am 16 years and have been for 6 months and every time i have gone to this tesco i have been denied of buying an energy drink numerous times due to the fact the holographic bit has rubbed off my card, because ive kept it in the back of my phone and had it for over 2 and a half years. i think this is totally unfair i’m in s5 and go to the school across the road, why would i lie about my age for an energy drink in my meal deal when it’s so busy at lunch time?
