The Fountains Abbey, a fine Greene King pub on Prayed Street, opposite the main entrance to St Mary's hospital. Busy as anything, lots of football supporters watching the screens with partisan enthusiasm. All good. A fine selection of cask and keg ales on offer, great service from everyone behind the bar, thanks to all.

I can give a big thumbs up to the atmosphere, TV screens and ambience. The veggie Sunday Roast was nice, although maybe stronger tasting Gravy would be good.Let down by the service. Basically Rude. Not 5 mins after finished spending about £60, just downed my drink, wife went to the loo. A lady appeared from the bar and asked if I was drinking. I was a bit bewildered and said well I’ve just finished that. I was then told if not drinking, my table was needed and I should order immediately or leave. Excuse me?! I literally just put the empty glass down! Shocking lack of manners or awareness! No call for that so I waited for my wife and left at half time!

I rarely write negative reviews but I don’t feel there is any choice in this case. Don’t get me wrong the service was very friendly however I wouldn’t even give the food 1 star.We ordered 3 small meals to share plus spicy chicken wings and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were cold and unseasoned and we sent them back The halloumi fries were cold and hard in the middle, they got sent back. The chicken wings were pink, unseasoned and had almost no hot sauce on at all. The cod goujons were acceptable. Some new sweet potato fries came back which were warm but again with zero seasoning and we received some new halloumi fries which this time were warm but were soaked in sauce, they simply resembled a load of mush on a plate. After complaining the very nice woman working on the bar issued a full refund but seemed noticeably unsurprised following the complaint. Quite shocking considering this is a Greene King in central London.

What a nice little pub, went in to try the famous fish and chips that was advertised on the board outside.. Had a laugh with the bar staff, very friendly and helpful.Service was quick and efficient. The venue was clean and tidy. Being on the corner give you a great street view if your into people watching.Don't be fooled by the photos, this place filled up within 10 mins of me taking them.Food was served without too much of a wait and was excellent.Looking forward to see you again on my next visit. If this review was informative enough for you give it a thumbs up for others.

Very inviting and nice pub near Paddington station that is open until midnight. We only came for drinks, so I cannot say anything on the food. The selection of beers and other beverages is very good. The staff is very friendly and it was a very good overall experience.

So firstly I'd like to say the food you see here was lovely, the atmosphere and decor is lovely (very Christmas) and the staff was polite and lovely too my issue was this... We ordered 2 roast beef dinners and while mine came lovely and hot as you see my partner was told there was no beer left and would chicken be ok. He agreed as my food had already arrived. We waited 20 mins for his food and while the chicken came hot and freshly cooked the rest seemed like it had been waiting since mine had arrived. I'd like to stress my food was so good and I hate to complain (didn't say anything there) but felt I had to be honest in my review. Lovely place but probably wouldn't visit again due to that put off

We called in Saturday for quick drink as we were off to theatre and loved the atmosphere so we decided to come back today for food. Myself and my husband were really happy with food and Service. Will be back soon when back in London. Thanks Aron and your team for warm welcome

What a horrible dirty dump this place is. The table next to me was vacant yet had most of the previous occupants food over it and when my food was delivered the waitress or bartender either ignored it or failed to see the mess and left it.The food was barely edible and the toilets absolutely disgusting. This place needs a complete revamp and better more dedicated staff. Who do I blame ? Well the manager who clearly doesn't care and should be replaced.

This is a fairly standard Greene King pub. The staff are polite and friendly. At the time of my visit the only ale that was available was the Greene King IPA. In the gents not only was there no soap, but there was not even a soap dispenser! I confess i have not tried the food here but I have no reason to believe it deviates from the usual offerings from Greene King.

Cool pub right next to Paddington station. The atmosphere is great and they have big screens to play the football or rugby matches. They have loads of drinks and the cocktail selection is good. They shut a little early.
