This is a love hotel. The rooms are basic and relatively clean, although the cups in the bathroom still had remanents of toothpaste from a previous resident in the bottom which was a bit grim. The staff however couldn't do enough for you and the spa and therapists are amazing. My only issue was with the lack of menu options for people who have dietary requirements beyond a vegan stew" kept in the back if someone asks for anything to suit their allergies or restrictions

A really lovely little place to stay with a mini spa attached. The decor was a bit dated in parts like the dining area but the rooms were very well maintained and clean. Service was exceptional and friendly. A great place to use as a base whilst exploring the local areas. We drove to Frome which was especially nice and full of independent shops. Warning: everything seems closed on a Sunday!

Great stay at the Eastbury over the bank holiday weekend. Very friendly and thoughtful staff who were great from the moment I called to book, to when we checked out. We stayed in the Potting Sheds as we had our dog with us. He was made to feel very welcome by the staff who were quick to provide an extra bed and bowls for him. Breakfast was generous with both hot and continental options. We also had a lovely spa treatment with the wonderful Kate. Sherbourne itself is also lovely and would recommend The Green and The Clock Spire for dining options. Would definitely visit again.

Large room (Cowslip) which was traditional, with dark furniture and comfortable bed. The linen felt new. There was a large untraditional deep bath in the room, (which I'm not usually a fan of, but it worked well here) with a screen and plants as a surround. Lovely old building, which was warm despite minus 4 degrees outside.Staff were lovely. Breakfast, part buffet and part served, (eggs and full English), which was fine.

Had a lovely 2 night break here. Great location for easy walk into town and access to the castles. Only problem we had was with the cooked breakfast which wasn't acceptable.

Our second visit to this hotel, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for three nights.Discreetly located, the hotel is intimate, quiet, and full of charm. Sherborne is a gem, and a great place from which to discover Dorset. The staff are friendly and welcoming.Kate, the spa therapist was fantastic, and made the stay very special. Our room was very comfortable with all the amenities you expect of a five star hotel. We had a garden deluxe room, with a small walled private garden. The main garden housing the spa is beautiful.Breakfasts top notch.Thank you very much Eastbury, we shall return!

Just had an amazing two day stay at The Eastbury Hotel for my Dads wedding. It’s been such a lovely place for a special day. From our initial arrival, with friendly reception staff, through to checking out two days later, all 45 guests at the wedding were made to feel extremely comfortable, and were well looked after. I was Best Man, and dealt with both Gemma and Ben to help ensure the day ran smoothly, both could not have been more helpful or friendly. Nothing was too much bother, and the whole day ran like a well organised machine - and given that my Dad is ex RAF, he likes things to be precise! ALL staff, from housekeeping to front of house were so friendly and chatty, it wasn’t like staying in a hotel, but rather at a friends. Food was exceptional, wine well priced and well chosen, rooms were individual and full of character. The extra touches from comfortable resident lounge and pool room, to decorating the bride and grooms room after the wedding, just made our stay even more special. Thank you to you all at Eastbury, you made a family wedding extra-special, and the bride and groom (79 and 78 years young respectively), are over the moon.

The staff gave us such a warm welcome, and this warmth lasted the length of our stay. Our room was beautifully furnished, and the bed so comfortable. The breakfasts catered for all tastes, and again the staff were efficient and friendly, without being obtrusive. The guests lounges were cosy, and board and card games, and a pool table were provided.
