Gemma is so talented, she listened to my requests and choices regarding shape and colour and did exactly what I asked. I've been coming to Karen for my brows doing for 8yrs now and am still wowed every time at how fabulous they look! Looking at pre -brow pictures it's amazing the difference they make to how much younger I look. People don't even realise I've had them done! I feel I am in safe hands with Karen, as she believes safety and care of her clients is of paramount importance and you can't put a price on that! One of her Elite technicians, Sue has done my lips and eyes for 7 yrs and I have the same trust and confidence in her work as I know Karen ensures her Elite team are continuing with the quality and care she has instilled in them. You get what you pay for, and I'd rather be in safe hands when it comes to this type of treatment.

Fantastic experience with Gemma. I had my eyebrows microbladed for the first time a couple of days ago. Gemma talked me through the whole process and was very patient when it came to deciding on my final brow shape. She listened to what I wanted but also told me her opinion based on her years of experience which was invaluable advice. I'm two days down the line and I absolutely love my brows! I'm so happy with them and can't wait to see how they look when they're fully healed. I'd highly recommend Gemma and the Karen Betts team to anyone.

Being a full time University student and a busy mum of three make-up application is not up there on my list of priorities. One morning I stood looking in the bathroom mirror, my hair looked like it had been brushed with a toffee apple and my mother’s face stared back at me. It was time for drastic action. ‘SPMU’ seemed to be the acronym of the day. After much research one name in the industry kept cropping up ... Karen Betts Professional. After a lengthy and comprehensive consultation, I found myself booking three treatments, eyebrows, eyeliner and lips. All my procedures were carried out by Vikki from the Elite team …. She is fabulous! I felt totally at ease from the minute I met her, she was friendly and chatty and explained the processes fully to me.First procedure was my brows. Having spent the majority of the 90s over plucking I was left with very sparse brows. I have spent a fortune on products promising me thick, lustrous brows only to find myself disappointed and out of pocket. Having had numbing cream applied Vikki drew the template for my brows, constantly stepping back like a true artist and checking the accuracy of her work, we discussed the best colour for my skin tone and only when I was happy with the colour and shape did Vikki prepare me for the tattooing. Being needle phobic I was dreading it! However, I could hardly hear the machine and felt like Vikki was drawing on me with pencil rather than a needle. Numbing cream was constantly applied to ensure that I felt no discomfort. When the treatment was finished and I got to view my finished brows nothing could have prepared me, I had gorgeous, thick, beautifully shaped brows that framed my face perfectly.Secondly …. Eyeliner. This was the procedure I was dreading the most, surely a needle near my lash line would be agony. Once again numbing cream was applied and Vikki set about tattooing a gorgeous winged flick. The procedure wasn’t painful, a mild annoyance if anything, bit scratchy in places and my eyes flickered involuntarily a couple of times but it was nothing like I imagined. I was a little puffy eyed afterwards but some Piriton tablets stopped them getting worse. The finished effect is amazing, perfect eyeliner with no smudging!Thirdly …. Lips. It was explained that the colour applied will lighten during the healing process so with this in mind I chose quite a vibrant pink. Vikki spent a long time blending different pigments until I was completely satisfied. Numbing cream applied and Vikki drew the shape, eliminating any flaws, highlighting and defining my cupids bow. Again, this wasn’t an unpleasant experience, a little nippy in parts but the minute Vikki sensed I was uncomfortable she reapplied numbing cream. Afterwards I had the most amazing swollen luscious pout you could imagine! If you are prone to cold sores one key piece of advice is to get some Aciclovir tablets to prevent an outbreak. I purchased a course from Superdrug online for £20, they are a god send!It’s now a week after my treatments. It was a little strange getting out of bed and having make-up on but these procedures have boosted my confidence and self-esteem like you wouldn’t believe. I cannot praise the treatments I received highly enough and have received so many compliments. If you are considering it ... do it! But only with the best.... KBP!

Karen is amazing. I've had other 'beauty professionals' literally peering closely at my eyebrows and saying they've never seen any as good. Friends I tell are also surprised they're not my own. Worth the journeys to either Cheshire or, as I did today through nightmare weather, South Elmsall. I really can't recommend enough.

My treatment with Karen was fantastic! She was so friendly and welcoming, I felt instantly relaxed and at ease. She talked me through the treatment and tailored everything to my preferences, it wasn't at all painful like I had been anticipating. This was my very first microblading appointment for my eyebrows and I travelled 2.5 hours to come to a Karen Betts clinic due to the great reputation! I saw Gemma in the Yorkshire clinic and she was absolutely fantastic. She is a perfectionist and is so so friendly, which definately put me at ease! I'm over the moon with my new brows and can't wait to wake up in the morning and not have to worry about them! Thankyou so much Gemma!

I have been a client of Karen Betts since 2005/2006...many happy years! Until finding Karen & KB Elite Team, I didn't think there was anything that could be done for my non-existent brows! I love them. Don't ever think comparing prices will get you a better ARTIST - it's NOT worth the RISK!

For years I suffered the inability to pluck my eyebrows and have them look symmetrical, one would always be higher than the other which would lead to thinner and thinner brows which did nothing to compliment my face shape. Then I found Karen Betts who is, in my opinion, the absolute market leader in permanent makeup and eyebrow tattooing. After a brow treatment with Karen I almost looked as if I'd had a mini facelift...it really was that good. I highly recommend Karen's treatments - she's down to earth, honest and so skilled, you can't help but trust her.
