The Dylan Coastal Resort

we booked an spa day . they rang us on the day to change our appointments, they rang us a few hours before which ment we had to spend over 90 minutes apart from each other. The shower next to the swimming pool had no hot water. The pool was pretty cold and full of children floating devices. I wouldn’t go back for spa day i think it is more of a family place.

Had a fantastic stay here. The lodges overlooking the estuary were very nice and well equipped. TVs in all rooms with the usual Apps on. Views were spectacular especially from the master bedroom with a large window and Juliet balcony. There is a large infinity hot tub pool and good size swimming pool that has some floats out for kids. Large steam and sauna which were great with cold water bucket, cold hot power shower and ice sink all included. Nice walks around and very close to the village where there are a few good pubs, lovey places to eat and a great castle to visit. Restaurant on site was very good, with prices as you’d expect. Great pizza oven. Great views again from here. Only slight downside was that they were a little short staffed so service became a little slow, but the waiting staff who were on were doing a cracking job! Tennis court (free) and Amal kids play park also on site. Quite steep paths getting about, but there is a free concierge service if you need. Pendine beach (which is excellent) is only a 10 minute drive.

We came here in May this year and loved so much we came back. Loverly place and great local walks. Good club house,bar and restaurant. Located in the site they have a leisure centre and Spa.

A magnificent location with an amazing view. Great facilities and accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff.

My daughter and I along with her two young daughters, spent a thoroughly enjoyable week at Dylan Resort, Laugharne. Our accommodation at The View was 5* beautiful and clean. Reception and restaurant staff are so helpful. Our view over the estuary was breathtaking, tranquil and full of fowl flying about. Would certainly recommend anyone having a holiday there.

We had an amazing experience, the lodge felt luxurious, the views were stunning, and it was exactly as depicted in the photos. Not to mention the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The only 2 things I would mention is our lodge outside light was not working so it was a little difficult seeing in the dark when we came back in the evening with the kids, also i know it might be relatively difficult to maintain but our lodge had several spiders in each room which freaked out my wife and mother (they hate spiders lol) so i had to spend a bit of time in each home hovering them up and removing the webs, i feel for the price i paid it would be nice to have that taken care of before we entered the lodge. However, aside from that it was an amazing experience and we would love to come back.

We had a lovely stay at Dylan Coastal Resort. The spa, staff and location were faultless! There a few things that would have made our stay even better including sofa blankets, decaf tea and coffee, a sewing kit, higher dining chairs, a side table to accompany the arm chair and a reading light. The rooms were clean although there was some dust on the blinds and cobwebs on the ceiling.

Had a meal there, really for the views it has to offer which are glorious!For that it is nice enough.However, because it's all new and has no original local buildings incorporated into the site, it is character less. I suspect most who stay are not too bothered as you are encouraged spend your days at the 'resort'.It could really be cited anywhere tbh.It's nice enough, although it should be when it is practically just opened!Perhaps it's pitching for a different sort of market, which I suspect couldn't care less anyway.

Fantastic holiday resort. Our Apex lodge was spacious, clean, and modern. The view from the lodge was breathtaking, and the hot tub was a lovely end to the evenings. We loved the spa. And kids had a blast in the pool and the hydrotherapy pool. The location is great. I would definitely recommend it!

Beautifully situated looking over the Taff's estuary this resort offers some wonderful views. Unsurprisingly the place is a bit hilly, and not for everyone, but the way it is laid out is lovely. The staff were excellent without exception and the food in the restaurant I thought was good. The rooms are immaculately clean, and most of them very modern and new. This is the part that surprised me the most. It exceeded my expectations. The town of Laugharne offers little in November but again, for a town that lives mainly off of tourists looking to enjoy the Dylan Thomas experience, that is to be expected. The main positive for me was the wonderful local people. Brilliantly friendly and were the icing on the cake for me.
