Quoted £380 for out of hours consultation for my dog that had just had a seizure as a reaction to new food. They didn't tell me that by the time I would have arrived at their location, my own vet would have been open and only cost £47.Unfortunately, my vets answerphone said they were shut until Monday, so I had no idea.As for the automated response that this will generate. There is absolutely no way it costs over 7 times as much to run the practice on a Sunday. Absolute rubbish! I have since checked the prices of a Kidderminster vet and they charge less than half this price.

Vet was really nice. The £308 that you have to pay just for consultation can not be justified, people don't have that kind of money but you have to find it if you don't want to see your pet suffering. I can understand paying more for out of hours but £300 plus, that's a week's wage to me.Hoping I never have to use it again.

While the Vet & Vet nurse were excellent, I was coerced into letting them claim the fee on my insurance when I wanted to pay directly. I was anxious about my cat so caved in. At no point was I told there would be an administration fee for this service. Having paid a large ‘deposit’ and filled in all the online forms for them and my insurance company, I have been bombarded with emails & texts about the outstanding amount - clearly generic & insensitive. Well over £300 for a consultation & then injections on top. Thank heavens emergency surgery wasn’t needed.

Didn’t require a blood test to determine dehydration, this can be done clinically.Rest of the treatment was ok, except for tablets which irritated an otherwise already inflamed gut.The cost was absolute day light robbery. £250.00 up front before the vet even walks through the door. Invoice is now with my insurance company but Vets Now are chasing for their payment. I on the other hand will have to wait longer to reclaim my £250.00 back…..we’ll see how long I have to wait.I guess the share holders are the real winners.

We had to take our dog Zorro to the clinic at the middle of a cold night.Zorro was seeing straightaway, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our vet Lorenzo, examined Zorro thoroughly and gave us a diagnosis ,he was very patient and reassured us. Great service,we were very grateful.

I have used this branch of VetsNow 3 times in the past, most recently last month. They are absolutely fantastic!!!! I cannot rate them highly enough. The service I got was brilliant from knowledgeable vets to caring nurses. The last visit my poor pooch had to stay in overnight for meds and fluids and the next morning I collected her they had already arranged for me to go straight to our usual vet. Brilliant!Use this branch with confidence! Your pet will be in safe hands.

Excellent care and instructions for how to ensure my dog, Dexter, avoided further damaging his spine. Two painkilling injections given. Seen straight away. The vet and her assistant were bright and breezy for 4am in the morning and altogether I cannot fault the service and treatment given.Slight quibble about the price though.Quoted £109 for a consultation fee on the phone before booking. Ended up with a bill of £307.50 for consultation and OOH fee and £65.63 for 2 painkilling injections, of which £41.66 was admin fee! I only hope the 2 members of staff were getting the large majority of that and not ‘Vets Now’. Total: £373.13.Still, what price do you put on your adorable pet?

I was extremely worried and stressed on Saturday afternoon when my cat appeared very jaundiced; I really didn’t know what to do or how to handle the situation too well, as this is the first time I’ve needed to access a vet as an emergency and in such stressful circumstances. The staff at Vets Now were really pleasant, helpful and patient with me, they explained everything and I felt confident leaving my pet with them; over the next couple of days they cared for him really well, communicated with me clearly and most importantly - got her better! I couldn’t really say much more positive - I was very glad they were there when I needed them!

I was worried my dog ate a grape after my toddler put his breakfast bowl on the floor and I found her eating out of it. I called Vets Now and they were very helpful. It took a while to get through, but they gave me all the info and prices up front. When we arrived, they saw us immediately since it was time sensitive. Everyone was super kind and helpful. There’s a Gregg’s next door so I went and had a coffee while I waited. They called within 30 minutes to update me and have me come collect her. Everything was fine and the staff were amazing. It was a little pricey, but it is also a Sunday and out of hours so worth the convenience and peace of mind.

The team at Vets now quite literally saved my dogs life over the past few days. Thank you so much you are all amazing. Friendly staff, calm and understanding. Kept me updated regularly as promised, I did not have to chase them myself. Explained everything clearly including the costs. The only down side is when it turns into a different vet in the day there can be moving dog around to and from different vets.
