The Hurlet Crematorium

Attended the funeral of my friend yesterday, what a lovely service, first time attending at this new crematorium its a beautiful modern building very light and welcoming, the scenery around is outstanding, so peaceful, the building and grounds are immaculate, parking area great and plenty disabled spaces which we used and very close to entrance, staff were very attentive and professional, the care and respect the staff had for my late friend, family and friends was very comforting, thank you to all.

Had my mother in law's funeral here and what a really nice place it is, as you drive in the fields are welcoming, and a great size car park. inside is so bright and spacious and the window onto the green fields is fantastic.thankyou

We had to recently use this crematorium after the passing of my other Half's late Mother. It's in lovely fresh, natural surroundings. We utilised Steven Cameron undertaker's (also recommended).The service provided by the crematorium was very professional and it ran to schedule. All the staff were also respectful.The crematorium is nice, clean and fresh and whilst the coffin sits at the window throughout the service, there is a peaceful (make that blissful), bright outlook on to the surrounding green fields. This is is only the third funeral I've been to, but I was impressed with the service.My only criticism - and it's constructive - is, it could really benefit from air conditioning, or windows open. It was a warm day, but it was overcast, so I don't know how warm it would be on a very temperate day.It's a very popular venue - understandable, once you've had a look around the premises, so when we arrived, another funeral courtage was leaving, and when we were leaving another funeral courtage was just arriving, so it's very much one in, one out; but again, once you see the premises you will understand why it's so popular.At such a difficult time, I definitely recommend this business.

Had my Husband's funeral here on August 4th. Couldn't have wished for a better service in such beautiful surroundings.Many thanks to everyone who made it possible.

Had my husband's funeral in the 12th MayThe Hurlet were so accommodating. They allowed us to have a Highland cow to escort Roddy up to the door.They went over and beyond.

Having been to a few cremation services at Hurlet Cremations, I was along today and it was was very busy with outgoing traffic and incoming traffic at the same time, however not everyone arrives in a car, it would be extremely useful to have a pedestrian path on the right hand side of the entrance myself and others has to walk on wet grass which can become slippery in the rain. Thanks.

It is a sad occasion when someone passes away but this venue is lovely. A newly built modern building with good views over fields. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible. Although if very large numbers of mourners are expected arrive there in plenty of time as the nearby roads and entrance can become congested.
