Bath Waterside & Marina

We chose this site to its proximity to Bath and we are glad we did, the Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local facilities. There is an excellent pub that does food just along the tow path and next to it is the reasonably priced Park and Ride that ages you in to the heart of Bath in 10 minutes. The site is largish but feels small due the hedges. The on site facilities were clean on every occasion we used them and the showers were lovely snd warm and easy to use. Will stay here again.

Lovely place to visit and to live. It has really turned around in the last year. We would recommend staying! There has been some really good improvements with the campsite and marina, and it is well looked after and clean! The staff are lovely, and always happy to help.

Stayed for two nights in our campervan, Lovely site, great shower block, very warm. Nice , helpful people in reception. Excellent location, we walked to Bath on both days we stayed.

Excellent site while visiting Bath city. Location fantastic, able to cycle along flat path 10mins into city centre.Getting to the caravan park was easy and you don’t have to go through clean air zone and pay anything.Staff on site more than helpful from telephone to office.Site is well kept, clean and tidy, lovely trees onsite, we really enjoyed it and would highly recommend anyone going to Bath.

Nice site, 45 mins walking along towpath into Bath, 10 mins walk to the Locksbrook Inn or the Boathouse Pub, both do good meals.All pitches are concrete hard standing, so have to put awning up on the grass side of pitch, making it very muddy & slippy.Facilities block is not very welcoming very tired & cold, showers warm but flow of water is very poor, there is a newish portacabin type Facilities block, but again not very warm or welcoming.Needs better facilities, then would be a 5 star rating.

Bath Waterside and Marina Caravan ParkGreat campsite, would definitely stay again. The staff are all lovely, very happy to help and love dogs! We felt very welcome here. The walk to the centre was pleasant, with a pub not too far away. The facilities were clean and warm.The site was easy to get to coming in from the motorway, there's also a fuel station right next door.

Not recommended at all!To start with the positive the location is brilliant for visiting Bath and a very easy and pleasant walk into the city and back with two fantastic pubs close by - if visiting highly recommend The Boathouse excellent food and service!Now the not do great! The site is very tired and needs a revamp! But it’s also filthy in the three days we were there the toilets were not cleaned at all and the floors were disgusting! I would not let my child shower in there! The plots are random some are very small and told not to park on the grass so made it difficult to cram onto the pitch! Some are solid concrete which is obscure when you have an awning? It was not well managed with moves having to be made during the evening because instructions given at book in were not clear! The staff we called twice when travelling as we got diverted off to ask the best way into the site and on both occasions were totally clueless on how to get there other than the B road it’s on! Poor knowledge and not helpful!The price is very high for a very basic dirty site we have paid the same price for other sites on our holiday and got much higher standards. It is also a very noisy site with the hospital located very close by and id clearly on the Bristol airport pathway so not a quiet and peaceful stay! Very disappointed.

The location of the site is good for bath. The site needs a good tidy up to make it look more respectable. Some of the pitches are really small.(for campers). Ours was barely big enough for our motor home. Branches were touching the roof.The toilet blocks are basic. If you are staying one or two nights this is ok as a base…. But this site is crammed in and not somewhere you would want to spend a lot of time in. That saying the reception staff were very friendly

We loved our stay! Super helpful & friendly staff. The location was awesome with an easy bus ride into the centre. Thank you for your hospitality.
