Odd one this- the bar area is an excellent sports bar, brilliant friendly service. The rooms however…clean but very tired. ..but not expensive so you get what you pay for.

It's had a good update to the decor. Very decent pub grub and good service too. Haven't stayed in the hotel though.

Lovely local bar & restaurant. Food is top drawer and service is always fast & friendly.Our kids are quite fussy eaters but they absolutely love it here. Mac Cheese for the win!Highly recommend a visit.

Spacious budget hotel, room only. Spotlessly clean where necessary, some areas dusty (lamp). Enjoyed a lovely evening meal, fairly priced for quality and quantity. Small car park but only fits 3 cars and that's only if they park straight, plenty on street parking but time limited.

Great Western Hotel Aberdeen
We spent Saturday night at the Great Western Hotel, Aberdeen and would like to thank Kim, Andrew and Elson and the lady on reception (sorry didn't get your name) for making us feel very welcome. The staff were very kind and accommodating and the atmosphere in the sports bar was very good. We would definitely recommend and will return. We manage self-catering holiday lodges and appreciate how important feedback is and how important good customer service is.

The staffs attitude towards allergens was unacceptable. The food was all overpriced and tasteless. Best part of the meal was the tap water. Staff did not care. Will not be back.

Poor hotel with very limited car park - 5 spaces Parked on street. Very noisy bar. Room was quiet. Smaller than average and very basic

Great Western Hotel Aberdeen
I have to say I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. My room was clean and cozy, and the attached bath with toilet was also neat and clean. The heating of the room worked well, and the hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The only drawback I noticed was that rooms were not properly sound-proofed.
