Galmpton Touring Park

Spent 14 nights here end August / Beginning September. Stayed here twice before and came back for the spectacular views. Was also blessed with good weather during our stay. Dave and Rosie are excellent Wardens, extremely helpful and friendly. Enjoyable and well needed break in a nice part of the Country and will be back sometime in the future

We've been staying here on and off for over 12 years and always loved the welcoming staff, the fantastic views and a well looked after peaceful site. But this year we booked a week here only to get no welcoming, found its under new ownership and seemed a little run down to what it usually is, we booked and our daughter tried to book on the same site as us only to be told they was full... it wasn't, we spent the week there with lots of room for more, must have been a good reason why I'd spoke.Sadly we will now find alternative sites that do offer more for less money.

Well.. . this was a higher priced site with the lowest quality facilities I’ve experienced for years! Probably the shower and toilet area was built around 1970 and has been bodged to repair since!The area and views are fantastic but the site is an example of a greedy owner wishing to line their pockets and let the wardens (who were lovely from the welcome to departure) keep the bank balance topped up without investing .Pitches were poor and rather tight size wise.We will not return and were glad to be leaving for a site with with awards that are believable!If you read through the site info it becomes clear that “the Company” is just about making a profit without providing for the guests!!Such a shame

2nd time here, lovely well kept site, roomy pitches. Lovely friendly wardens. Great views of the river and countryside. Good access to the site. Toilet block very clean.

This is a beautiful tranquil clean site. The views are fantastic. The staff are friendlyand helpful. The toilet shower block needs updating BUT is clean and gas good hot water. The reason for 4 stars is that they need more staff so that the reception could be open longer and possibly sale a few basics. The site is positioned well to explore the area easily. I do not recommend this site for teenage children. Adults and toddlers will love it. Thanks dave and Rose for your hard work. Also fish and chips on Friday night very good.

Great views of river some pitches require chocks. Toilet block needs refurbishment friendly helpful staff be aware very hilly

Nice campsite 2 miles from Brixham, good views friendly staff,clean shower toilet block,bus stop 1 mile away ,to Paignton, Torquay and Brixham, pub in village down the road

Love it here. So peaceful. You can hear the steam train, which is great. Nice walks for the dog too. Not too far from the beach etc. Lovely little village shop and a great pub.

Lovely site. Our first time visiting and certainly would like to return.Wardens very pleasant and helpful. I've seen comments about the shower block!. In my opinion they were spotless, everything worked how it shouldNothing to complain about.The view from our pitch was beautiful.
