Nellie recently graduated from the Puppy Academy and we cannot recommend Jo enough. She’s great with all the pups and has a lot of patience when teaching them new things. She provides ongoing support which continues even after the pups have graduated and is only ever a text away if you need anything! Thanks Jo

Excellent caring staff from reception to vets, explained everything so we could understand and kept us informed by phone of our dogs wellbeing throughout the day and night he was admitted. Would highly recommend using the Plymouth Veterinary Group as your first port of call.

We always feel in safe hands with Plymouth Veterinary Group - skilled, caring staff, great service all round. The Pet Health Club makes routine preventative care easy, with regular reminders. Communication in general is very good. Most importantly, they have just taken excellent care of my little dog during knee surgery. Thanks to all for making it a gentle experience for us all.

Jo was absolutely fantastic. I learnt so much from her puppy classes and would reccomend her services for anyone with a new puppy. The classes were so fun and friendly and my puppy slept so well after. Thank you so much for your help and support.

Very happy with the vets, always helpful and caring. We’ve just completed Puppy classes with Jo and can’t thank her enough for all the advice and support. Max really enjoyed the puppy socialisation at Central Park. Would definitely recommend the puppy classes with Jo’s support for any new puppy owner.

I recently attended Puppy Academy with Jo who was a massive help with my puppy Reggie. Jo is a calming, experienced and super knowledgeable dog lover who was there for me when I wasn't sure I could cope anymore!! The initial Zoom sessions were a brilliant way of meeting new people in similar situations and learning a lot before we could take Reggie out on walks, then the socialisation sessions were really fun and informative. Thanks Jo :)

We made an out of hours appointment for our French bulldog who we thought was having a seizure we were advised the consultation would be £350 when we arrived we rang the bell and were told someone would be down shortly the lady that answered the door showed us into the waiting room she was not welcoming and not very friendly she looked tired like we had just woke her up and we wondered if we did.The clinician was also unfriendly and not welcoming. She listened to what we said and examined our dog she did not reassure him in any way she took his temperature something he has not had done before and was clearly anxious again no reassurance was shown our dog struggled a bit and she asked me if I could help I explained I suffered from chronic copd and as my wife was already holding and reassuring our dog she then called the nurse to help.(He's a French bulldog not a great dane)After she examined him she found he was in pain from a back injury and gave him 2 injections again no reassurance and did not in any way make a fuss of him. The attitude we recieved was one of inconvenience from start to finish I get it was early hours of the morning but that's why you pay for an out if hours appointment fee £350 We shouldn't have felt like we had got someone out of bed and caused them an inconvenience.Although we appreciate the diagnosis a little more compassion towards our dog and us would not have gone a miss.

I would highly recommend this vets. They've been a great help with my older rescue dog and also my new puppy. I know plenty of friends that have had positive experiences with their pets also (Cats, Rabbits, Dogs etc.)Genuine recommendation to anyone looking for a vets in Plymouth for their petsMy new Puppy has just completed her Puppy Class run by Joanne. Jo has done a fantastic job teaching an old dog new tricks (me) she really guided me in areas I thought I knew and showed me where I was going right when I thought I was going wrong 10/10
