Chose as a place for a quick pint and ended up staying for a few hours!Staff are lovely and the music subtle. Pleasant atmosphere with spectacular views of the Tay!Recommend the Chorizo Croquettes with tabasco mayo as a snack.

We just had a lovely vegan Christmas dinner here, sitting in front of the fire in the bar. Lots of choice, with everything sounding delicious. We’ll definitely be back, so glad it has reopened.

Road trip here as heard it was beautiful and overlooking The Tay as you dined. Ideal size menu choice & there's specials. Chose Halibut meal,perfection and beautiful presented,also double boat brae burger meal which my friend struggled with haha. Perfect weather, gorgeous views, immaculately clean, friendly staff,sit up,down or out the back on large balcony area,dogs & children was welcome. Parking on street. Go for it...... won't be disappointed.

I can't remember the last time I experienced such slow service at a restaurant.My burger was nice, but my partner's salmon dish had a giant rock hard parsnip on it for some reason..We wanted to get dessert, but after having been ignored around half an hour after finishing our mains, we were too annoyed and just decided to leave instead.Every single step of the way we had to wait for service from start to finish, even though they were not busy at all.Lovely atmosphere, but the service was pretty bad unfortunately.

A wonderful little restaurant/pub with amazing atmosphere. Even when fully booked up we still managed to get a table. Had Hummus with olive oil & balsamic vinegar, the Haddock & Chips with Mushy peas & Crab Gnocchi with Samphire. It was tasty and very filling. Looking forward to our next visit.

The best fish and chips i had in the UK. Service is very friendly and atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. You must try it especially the outside space at sunset time

Super friendly and helpful staff and management. Great chef! The food was delicious! They were knowledgeable and very helpful with eliminating gluten for my celiac daught. The ambience was also wonderful. Would highly recommend.

My daughter and I visited Boat Brae two weeks ago for dinner and we enjoyed our meal so much. The food just melted in our mouths and it was so tasty! I also have to say that the service was excellent. and the waitresses were top notch. We will definitely be back! Thank you for being such a special place to eat!
