Travelodge Edinburgh Central Waterloo Place
Stayed hear for the Tattoo and Fringe festival.Could not be in a better place for exploring Edinburgh. Waverley train station right opposite,bars restaurants Castle all within walking distance.Had front elelevation view Of Waterloo place. Bus and tram service outstanding. Room was fine for a three night stay but can not speak about other rooms?If anything carpet could do with renewing. Had an email to say they are going to spruce up several rooms in the near future. Lift to all rooms. Would I stay here again,yesss.

Travelodge Edinburgh Central Waterloo Place
We stayed here on 02/12/23. The warm welcome at reception by Mr. T of TripAdvisor fame was an excellent start to what was a pleasant one night stay.We were allocated room 221 which is on the 2nd floor. There's a lift and then a long corridor to the room with some wonky floor levels to contend with but nothing extreme. The room was a very good size for 2 and the shower room was clean and tidy. The room had a tv and kettle with tea and coffee sachets. The bed was very comfy and clean.For the location which is a few minutes walk from Waverley Station, the noise was not excessive but was present but in a city centre, that's not a surprise. There's the Waterloo bar and a cafe called Pep and Fodder right next to the hotel and both offer pleasant surroundings and reasonable prices.The real gem here though is the staff who were all helpful, friendly and attentive. 6 stars for them!!

Travelodge Edinburgh Central Waterloo Place
Had a fantastic 2 night stay in the centre of Edinburgh. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, I was so impressed by the service. Room was clean and comfortable, the shower did leak on the floor a little even with the curtain pulled across, but it wasn’t really an issue! Location wise, we were in the heart of the city and it was just a short walk to everything we wanted to see. Would absolutely stay again and will be recommending to friends!

Travelodge Edinburgh Central Waterloo Place
I booked a room to give myself some time before I moved into my flat for this year. My stay was made vastly better because Tarila worked there. He was so welcoming and so easy to talk to. He is the type of guy that uplifts you and made my stay 5 stars. I would come back to this travelodge solely for him because he is an incredible host and I hope that this company recognizes him for his hospitality skills.

Very convenient location to Edinburgh Waverly station. The employees have been very kind and helpful when we locked our key in our room. I wish wifi was included, but it's only 3 pounds for 24 hours which is not bad.

26/11/23 - Two night stayWe picked this hotel based on location and price.It's just a short walk from the train station and all the attractions of Edinburgh. The room was clean and perfect for a short stay. There is a lack of shelving for clothing so might be an issue if staying longer.The guy on reception was a pleasure to meet.

Beautiful central location. However, impossible to find at night using Google maps straight from the train station. (Took 1 hour and a half to find when it was a 6 minute walk away). Very small room. Room was basically the heat of a sauna. Had to sleep with the door open the whole time which wasn’t ideal considering it is on a main road and there was constant noise and still felt like a sauna. Only got free Wi-Fi for 30 minutes which wasn’t ideal.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't be more welcoming. Unfortunately we stayed on a very hot night therefore lack of a/c was a challenging. However the room served it's purpose, very clean, and we had a good stay
