Just purchased my third car from the guys at Southwick Car Centre, excellent service as usual. The car was in great condition and at the best price I could find. No pressure and so easy to deal with. Thanks Southwick definitely be back.

I rang to express interest in a particular car. I was called back and was able to discuss my needs and was assured there were several vehicles suitable for my needs. My husband took me to the dealership and we were greeted and offered assistance. They were very helpful and knowledgeable, we were given the keys to several cars of interest and left to look over them. We took 2 cars for a test drive one of them twice. We bought a car and was able to drive it away within the hour. We were allowed to use their PC to arrange insurance and told where to go for tax. All in all a very good experience.

Being a young, inexperienced lady spending £18k+ on a car is a big worry of mine. Those worries were all put to rest by the sales assistant when part exchanging my car for a lovely Mercedes. The car is in perfect condition and I was very impressed with the level of service I received as I expressed my concern to the sales man about spending a lot of money and the worries I had regarding knowing very little about performances of cars and what is best fit for my lifestyle.He walked around with me explaining different aspects of different cars that would best suit me.A* customer service would definitely recommend to a friend or family.

Found a car here for my daughter. Family run dealership. Everything was so straightforward from the test drive through to the purchase completely felt at ease with no pressure selling. Would highly recommend they have a great stock list of vehicles.

Bought a car recently. Felt scammed after purchase. DO NOT TAKE OUT THE WARENTEE... It's not worth the paper it's written on. I firmly believe these insurance based warranties serve only 3 purposes. 1) To enable the dealer to wriggle out of their SOGA responsibilities if something major goes wrong in the first 6 months. 2) To give the customer a false sense of trust when buying the car. 3) To make money for the dealers / insurance company.

Complete joke of a place.. I wouldn't touch them or even bother with them...I drove hour and half to view and test drive a £16000 21 plate car and got there only to find out the car wouldn't start the bloke was as helpful as a chocolate fireguard. Didn't even offer to try and help just was like oh well. Not even sorry we have just driven all this way and he knew we were coming and still no heads up or Decency to check the car over beforehand complete joke of a guy and place. STAY CLEAR OF THESE COWBOYS

Just been to look at a couple of cars at this garage (that we had previously seen online) with the intention of purchasing immediately as we are in desperate need for a car. The sales assistant didn’t once get up off his chair or offer any customer service whatsoever.We took one car for a test drive, on returning we asked if we could take one other for a quick drive down the road as we were torn between the two. We were told that for over 26 years it has always been their policy to only allow one test drive. Given we were close to spending £20,000 on a vehicle I don’t believe a second drive is too much to ask.Appreciate they may get time wasters however if the sales assistant had taken any interest in what we were looking for it would have been very clear we were looking to spend money here.I would avoid this garage at all costs if your looking for advise, a basic level of customer service or even a test drive on a vehicle you are looking to purchase.We were told they sold 24 cars a week, well it would have been 25 if we were allowed an extra test drive. This was a total waste of our time.

Really excellent experience doing business with Southwick Car Centre. We had enquired on the phone regarding a car and got all the information we needed straight away, so we book to view and test drive the car. When we arrived we were greeted and the car was ready for us to view. After a quick drive we did the deal. We booked the collection in and when we arrived a few days later to collect the car it was clean and prepared for handover very well, all agreed work was done. We are so happy and will definitely recommend this garage.Thank you

The only car dealership I’ve been to where they don’t seem to want to actually sell their cars?! Most bizarre.I’ve given 2 stars as the cars are competitively priced and they don’t pressure you (quite the opposite, as you’ll read below). Those are the only positives.We drove 45 mins to test drive an automatic Kia Niro, however, had our toddler with us so could only go one at a time - my partner went first.Whilst he was gone, I asked the manager (I assume) if they had any other automatic cars I could look at as I wasn’t sure on the Niro due to the size - he said they didn’t really have any others and that was that.When my partner returned, I went to look at the car - it stank of cigarettes, had an almost empty tank (dash said 7 litres, so I didn’t test drive it), had lots of scratches and bumps to body work, and they were also awaiting parts for a faulty reversing sensor that they didn’t bother to mention when we’d called up numerous times that week.I mentioned again that it’s a shame they didn’t have any other automatics we could look at, and he said they only had a couple but they were larger cars.That evening I continued my search on autotrader and found a couple more cars that were within our budget and met all our criteria, and guess what - they were at Southwick car centre. Smaller SUVs (e.g seat arona), and automatic.This guy honestly seemed like he just didn’t want to sell any of the cars there. We probably would’ve gone back for the Niro once it had been cleaned up (we had the cash ready to go!) but the attitude of the staff was massively off putting.Last point which cemented our decision to not return - I’m currently pregnant and was not offered a seat nor a drink whilst I waited for my partner, so sat on the floor with my toddler whilst she ate a snack…
