Unfortunately we managed to get a room next to a wedding party so it was a little loud on the Saturday night. However, the premier deluxe room had a nice little shared garden with a view of the beach, and access directly to your car. We had a night at the bar in the restaurant where the bar staff were very friendly and chatty, and had a great view of the bay out on the bar balcony. Very happy with the place and will be making the long drive to stay there again.

Didn't stay in the hotel but visited the lounge/ bar next door.We had a friends dog with us and took the dog up the outdoor stairs to the decking area, and ordered coffee at the bar and asked that they refill a water bottle for the dog! Coffee arrived at our outdoor table and we thanked the waitress. Five minutes later a male waiter came up to us informing us that the dog was not allowed! Really?? For those who don't know the place it's a caravan park with a hotel and lesuire/nar complex. My understanding through previous experience is that caravan parks are normally child and pet friendly. Why else would you spend £30k upwards for a holiday home. There is no need for an outdoor space to be off limits to dogs.

Plus points The views from.the Horizons restaurant are spectacular the food quality and quantity are excellent staff very friendly and work extremely hard the negative points Hotel guests have to share the amenities with the caravan park that is not pointed out a time of booking we booked and payed for a sea view room only to be placed in a room with 2 big hulking bushes blocking our sea view we were offered and accepted another room.which had better sea views but this room was a bit grubbier than our original room be advised that the Premier Deluxe rooms are on the ground floor and sea views are limited the Family Deluxe rooms on the upper floor have balconies and much better views price of food and drink is reasonable

The room (114) was OK but cleaners need to pay more attention to the corners as there was heavy contamination of dust in the rooms and mould in the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom was almost blocked The carpet was a little stained and worn and the bed creaked. The iron sole plate was heavily contaminated with black deposits and the trousers iron was broken. Both lamp shades were damaged and one of the L.E.D. desk lights loose from the wall. I was expecting better considering the price. The view from the room however was fantastic and the place was very quiet. The staff were great and very friendly. All in a great place to stay but some things need a little more attention.

Great Hotel. The service went above and beyond. The receptionist was very helpful. They provide complimentary breakfast, free parking, and free access to the pool and sauna. I was also surprised to see there were plenty of activities to do ranging from arcade games and pool/snooker tables. Besides all of this, the room was amazing with a beautiful view of the beach. If I ever return to Scotland again, I will definitely be staying here in the future.

My partner and I came for three days away which went really well. The hotel is on a hilltop which is fun for parking. The restaurant overlooks the sea which is really beautiful. The WiFi had issues when we were there but the staff were really helpful and gave us paid WiFi codes. There is a park five minutes drive from the hotel, and it's about 30-50 minutes drive to Edinburgh. All in all we really enjoyed our vacation up north.
