Stopped off for a wee coffee in here. Ali and staff were great and very friendly and really nice atmosphere here. Didn’t try any food but what was coming out the kitchen looked delicious! Would highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. 5 stars from me.

Great food, service fantastic, unfortunately the place is freezing, my wife and I had to eat with our winter coats on and I noticed the few customers that were in the restaurant had their coats on, not acceptable and won't be back.Honestly if you're going to visit wear warm clothing...or go somewhere thats happy to spend money on heating...

Today was my second time visiting Joxer since opening in Hillsborough. I love the atmosphere/decor. However, today I ordered the Caesar salad. I wasn’t overly keen on the chicken (not sure what way it had been cooked) but the main issue was, there was a hair in it. It put me off straight away and only managed about half of the salad. I was out with a friend so didn’t want to make a big deal of it/put her off her lunch. I was waiting to be asked if everything was ok when the plates were being collected/when we approached the till to pay to bring it to attention of staff, but was never asked. So paid the £12 for the salad and left. Disappointing as I had enjoyed it so much the first time I had been.

Went for nice Saturday brunch, waited for a table to then be told once seated that we had less than an hour since they had a reservation coming in. Food came and wrong meal was brought for one of us, so friend had to start whilst I waited. Then the meal came and the pork belly was discoloured and smelt and tasted off, ate around it and left it on the plate and mentioned it to waitress when they were lifting the plates, she went to the kitchen and came back and said the chef apologised, but yet was still charged full price at checkout with the mistake firstly made with the wrong order and being served food that was off.

It's a great spot for a tasty lunch. The staff are friendly & welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit & I will definitely be back.I had chicken & and waffles, which were yummy.The coffee is delicious, and there are indulgent looking tray bakes available. You can also bring your dog, which is a bonus.

I had tempura broccoli but there wasn't much batter, mostly deep fried broccoli! I was out with family and didn't like to complain

Place was pretty full even though it was 11:30 on a Monday morning. Chicken and waffles were near perfect and the americano was lovely. Being dog friendly was a nice bonus too! Will definitely be back.
