Fish Plaice
Very nice fish and chips place, right next to the British Museum. Although we arrived shortly after the afternoon service had just started, the service was really fast. Everything we tried was very tasty and juicy. Would certainly recommend!

The order arrived quickly and overall tasty. The fish was well prepared and boneless. The price seems high to me - but since it is traditional and right at the location of the British Museum, I completely understand it. If you haven't eaten traditional English fish and chips, I recommend it :)

We ordered 2 portions of the boneless Korean fried chicken. Both were tasty and crispy, very generous with the sauce. However, we were a little disappointed by how much chips were given. Great little place to eat after visiting the British museum.

I seldom leave a review but this place was amazing. There was abit of a crowd so we had to wait at the bar counter near the entrance, and the chef dished out a plate of fresh chips for us to snack on while waiting (was absolutely touched haha, thank u 사장님^^) Our group of 3 had a large fried cod + chips and a whole fried chicken. Food was no frills just how I like it and SUPER FRESH. the Korean fried chicken was even better than some that I had on my recent trip to Korea. They also gave us soy garlic sauce on the house which was so lovely. The servers were smiley, polite and helpful. I will definitely return the next time I'm in London :) thank you for the great food and vibes! 감사합니다

Went there with my fiancé and mum after visiting the British Museum just across the street.The place looks nice and tidy, with the kitchen at the front and dining area at the back, which has a conservatory roof.As we walked in, I asked for a table for three and we were promptly shown to one. We then proceeded to order our dishes - one medium and one large cod and chips and a portion of scampi. As for the drinks, we only went for a Diet Coke and tap water for all three of us.The food came quickly, however we were negatively surprised by the size of the portions compared to the price. Each of the dishes had about one handful of chips. Due to this, we asked one of the staff if that was our order, which he confirmed. As we were unsatisfied with this, we have asked for two extra portions of chips. The tartare sauce was in a very small quantity too if the small bowl it came with the dish.The dishes tasted good, but we strongly felt like the prices there were due to the proximity to the British Museum, thus lots of tourists.I'm glad we were able to support a small local business, however they need to check their food prices.A 3 ⭐ review from me: the food was ok and the staff were friendly enough, however the portions are quite small for the price paid.

Fish and chips were so delicious! Great portion size and decent price! I enjoyed their homemade fish sauce as well! Friendly service and great atmosphere!

Good food and athnosphere. We did not reserve table but could still walk in immediately. After 6 p.m. We wanted to try fish and chips dishes and they were good. Fish was not seasoned at all, but lemon and tartar sauce was a good add-on to dish.

Good for a meal after visiting the museum. In particular, Korean tourists can enjoy a more comfortable meal because the staff and owner are Korean. The price is pretty reasonable too.

Hubby and I walked in after browsing the British museum for hours. We were sat quickly on a busy Monday evening. Ordered, and the food came within minutes, hot and fresh. From the time we sat down to paying the bill was a prompt 30 minutes. The food was delightful and service was extremely kind and friendly. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Really loved it. There was a disclaimer that there could be small bones in the fish but I didn't actually find any, there is a glass roof which was amazing, and for the toilets, they were quite clean but not fully, the atmosphere was good and I would visit again. Thank you for the food.
