We live in the village, sadly the pub has changed hands many times over the years. It is currently under new management, we dined on Tuesday night, food was good value for money and staff friendly & efficient.

Had a live band on which was very good.Only quibble was the juke box playing at same time which was quite loud,other than that great night.

The food was quite nice and the service was excellent it only took 20 minutes for the food to arrive and it was lovely, the staff were very nice and it idls located in the centre of the village which is very accessible to residents and the pool room is very clean and it's a great place to celebrate any occasions.

Kelly and her staff are professional, polite and organised. So welcoming and very friendly. Excellent rooms. Clean and tastefully decorated. I had a double and it was very spacious for such a grade 2 listed 17th century building.Thank you Kelly for being such a wonderful host.
