A nice laid out shop with really good quality items sold here. Most items were in pastel colours so if you're looking for that kind of look for your home accessories, then this will be spot on. Staff are friendly although I was told that photos were not allowed.

It is a lovely store with some beautiful items. I was in the shop whilst on FaceTime with my daughter and granddaughter and I was showing her the choice of products. I was deciding to buy an item from the wooden toy range to match my granddaughter’s kitchen that we have purchased for her Christmas present. I was rudely asked to stop taking photos of the products which I was not doing. I decided in that moment not to purchase the item as I felt I had been insulted and I left the store. It rather spoiled my day.The etiquette around FaceTime varies from different articles that I have read. I’m sorry if I made you and your staff feel uncomfortable. I was shopping with my daughter whilst I was on my break. I work 100’s of miles away from home to care for the vulnerable and elderly and I don’t often catch my daughter so that was a special moment being able to shop with her. She was aware that she was on FaceTime, I don’t feel that there would of been any difference if she were to of been physically in the shop with me, as we would of been chatting and looking at the products.I feel that your attitude, and your body language was rather stand off ish and not very friendly. Now those are my feelings, how I was made to feel in that moment so please do not say I was not made to feel like that. You do not know everyone’s story and a little bit of empathy can go along way.

I’m leaving this review having read that another customer had a similar experience to mine. I was visiting from abroad, browsing the shop and looking for a gift for a young child. The staff members were busy - one was already serving my mother - so I sent a a friend a photo of the little toy I was about to buy, given that my purchase was to be a joint gift from the two of us. As soon as I did so I was approached by a shop assistant who told me in the most surly, sententious tone that photos were not permitted, and proceeded to indicate a sign that apparently said as much. As any reasonable person would do I put my phone away and attempted to apologize, but rather than meeting me in the middle (I am perfectly happy to accept that management might rather I didn’t take a discreet photo, even in 2023), the member of staff didn’t even smile or acknowledge my apology and just turned and walked away while I was speaking. At this point I took a closer look at the sign and saw that it didn’t in fact say anything at all about taking photos, but was rather a curt request for guardians to prevent their children touching the toys. I quietly indicated to my mother that we should leave and we were happily able to find the same gifts elsewhere, and at a better price. The experience left me with a very bad feeling but I might not have left a review at all had I not seen a recent reply from the owner to a customer describing a similar experience. Fortunately, this kind of frosty reception is rare is Scotland, while gift shops are abundant.

Tasteful choice of gifts for yourself or someone else. Absolutely gorgeous baby and tiny person present and quality choice of lovely cards. Everything beautifully gift wrapped and made effortless for easy gift giving. I never go anywhere else for birthdays or new babies.

A visit here is a must we were buying a birthday present for a 2yo who wants for nothing, loads of choice of unusual interesting gifts reasonable priced. As well as very nice things to tempt your wallet/purse.

Excellent selection of gifts and products. First class service from staff, nice comfortable browsing, with no pressure to buy. Perhaps a tad more expensive than some shops but quality gifts with a wee bit of panache.

A beautifully designed shop, full of trinkets and home decor, plus a section for kids. Quite pricey but the products seem like high quality so probably worth their value.
