Emma is wonderful at what she does. My dog loves swimming with her and I love it as it’s good for her joints!I struggle to entrust most people with the care of my dog, even family members! However, with Emma I am sure she will be safe and happy.

Emma is absolutely brilliant, very professional and caring, but also makes it fun for the dogs. The love she has for the dogs that swim with her is clear. My dogs absolutely love going there, so much so, that I have to put the harness on my 10 year old Labrador in the car because once he gets through the door there is no stopping him!! She has helped his mobility immensely as he suffers from arthritis. My 1 year old had a couple of swims before lock down and once he is allowed back I will be booking him in for a fun swim as he loves going.I can highly recommend High Lane Hydrotherapy and can honestly say I won't take my dogs anywhere else.

We have been visiting Emma for several years with our elderly dog Albert and also our younger dog Red. Emma has helped Albert with his arthritis and introduced Red to the water when he was a puppy to build his confidence in the water. Emma is amazing with them both and not only that she takes time to assess Alberts progress in the water at each session and explains what is going on with his arthritic joints. They get a nice shower afterwards and smell lovely and fresh. We have full confidence in Emma and recommend High Lane to all of our dog walking friends. Cannot recommend Emma enough! Thank you Emma x

My golden retriever, Butch, is over 16 years old. Emma, the owner, has been his hydrotherapist for over 5 years. Butch looks forward to his bi-weekly sessions which have done wonders for the strength and flexibility of his back legs. At the end of a session Emma washes/shampoos Butch. Emma moved to the clean High Lane facilities, which she had custom-built, 2 years ago. Butch and I unreservedly recommend Emma and High Lane Hydrotherapy.

Emma is fabulous with the dogs, she really understands the level of exercise they need and adjusts it to the individuals needs. My 14 year old Golden retriever has been swimming with Emma for many years and I can honestly say she really cares about his whole well being of the dogs in her care. She has a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to helping the dogs in her care, I wouldn’t trust ‘my boy’ with just anyone but I trust Emma. The added bonus is that as well as keeping him fit and well he also loves his weekly swim.

I'd been to a couple of other hydrotherapists, before High Lane Hydro opened, and there is no comparison. It's brilliantly equipped, superbly maintained and much more hygienic than any other I've seen. That said, the main reason it's so good is down to Emma the owner and hydrotherapist. She is truly committed, extremely knowledgeable and incredibly caring towards the dogs she works with. I am a canine behaviourist and often get asked if I know anywhere offering hydrotherapy, the only place that I recommend is High Lane.

Emma has done absolute wonders for my two small, fluffy, once-water-hating cross breeds! Not only have they lost over 4kg between them, but they’ve also stacked on the muscle and become much, much more confident in the water. Both dogs look physically better after only a few months of hydrotherapy sessions, and with her guidance, their diet has been changed for the long term to ensure they keep the weight off and stay at a healthy weight. Both dogs adore Emma and love getting a cuddle and a love from her before, during and after their sessions. Even my nervous dog (who usually doesn’t like anyone!) is calm and happy whilst with Emma, and has been from start.I can whole heartedly recommend High Lane Hydrotherapy to any dog owner who is looking for a hydrotherapist, whether that be for rehabilitation, weight loss or fun swims!

Couldn't recommend this place enough. We took our 6 month GSD here for her first taste of swimming as she'd previously only dabbled in puddles.Emma was fantastic with her and had her swimming in no time at all. 5*

We started taking Henry our King Charles Cavalier Henry to High Lane Hydrotherapy when he developed severe mobility problems. He was struggling to walk and the vets were unsure if it was severe Arthritis or a Cruciate problem, surgery was discussed as an option. Hydrotherapy was something we wanted to try before committing to at least two operations. We found Emma at High Lane Hydrotherapy after a couple of recommendations. Despite being quite worried about Henry's condition, Emma's professional attitude eased our minds. She liaised with the vets and gave Henry's legs a good examination.Apart from paddling in streams Henry isn't too keen in water. With plenty of encouragement, a buoyancy vest and plenty of treats the swimming and massage began from the first visit. He had a 40 minute session once a week. After a couple weeks we could see an improvement in his mobility, his limp visibly less pronounced. Over the weeks as he got better we started going fortnightly and now he has been effectively signed off. From struggling to walk more than 50 metres he is now back to his old self. We would highly recommend Emma at High Lane Hydrotherapy.
