It was lovely meeting Karen yesterday and what a wonderful groom she gave Arlo our cockapoo.It was his first time with Karen and he was so relaxed and content when I picked him up. He was made to feel at home, allowed to wander her garden and the process wasn't rushed. He looked and smelt absolutely gorgeous when we got him home. His cut is a really professional job and we've already booked in again for his next one. Highly recommend!

Karen at Special Friends is amazing. So knowledgeable & tuned into yr Pets needs. I have a rescue dog (street dog) from abroad who was in desperate need of a professional groom but who is also terrified of the big wide World. Karen was so gentle & patient with her and managed to create a trusting bond really quickly. She came out looking beautifully fresh & clean after & seemed so much happier. Karen also regularly grooms my other Dog who always comes back looking very Handsome & smelling Amazing. Definitely 5* xx

I have been bringing my dogs to Karen for many years, and she is a wonderful groomer.They always look and smell lovely after their grooming session and are always happy and relaxed when I collect them.Karen is very caring and she has a lovely way with the dogs, putting them at ease if they are ever nervous.I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else, and would highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for a kind and professional groomer.

My cat came home, she seemed to have fallen into a vat of car oil or something. I called Karen and she offered help immediately. Cat had a good soapy wash and thankfully most of the oil came out. I am beyond grateful. Very reasonable cost also. Thank you.

Karen is very professional, friendly and very easy to talk to. Karen did an amazing groom on my Molly. She’s a ahichon so can get very knotty.We’d had a bad experience previously which made me very nervous taking Molly for a groom but Karen listened and made sure Molly was at ease and I have no problems when I take her to Special Friends

Special Friends Dog and Cat Grooming
Went to see Special Friends after our cat became extremely matted over the pandemic. Our cat is quite sassy and doesn't like to be fussed over, but our groomer was really good at letting her explore a little, and shaving her quickly and efficiently with little distress. And she has some really cute dogs! Would 100% recommend to anyone, and will be returning in the future. Thank you!
