Bang in Cardiff City centre. Well convent for shoppers. Disappointed was the room we had was at the front and was well noisy. Was hard to get to sleep at night. When making reservations made sure you get the back room. Hopefully less noisy.

A dissapointing stay unfortunately. I have used travelodge numerous times now and sadly this was a very poor / average experience. I arrived to find there was zero parking available even although it said on the website there was parking, I asked the receptionist where I could park and the guys gave me a slip of paper for capitol parking and that it would cost me £20 to park overnight and that was the cheapest. I asked how to get there and he shrugged and said he was not sure because I was driving there but he knew how to walk there! I got into to my room which has a smell of stale cigarretes and two windows that dont close properly as the handles were broken which was not good at all as the pubs were playing really loud music until the early hours of the morning. The bed was comfy, but in the bathroom the top surrunding the basin was loose and fell off. Not the great welcome to Cardiff I was expecting.

Very loud street noise and noise from a local club meant a very poor nights sleep.Very primitive room with various stains too.Excellent location but won’t stay here again.

Travelodge Cardiff Central Queen Street
Excellent service from very helpful and friendly staff.The hotel is much better after the recent refurbishment of the rooms and new Bar area.The noise outside is troublesome, but seeing as it is located in the centre and when the windows are closed it's not that much of an issue.Thanks for the service.

Don’t stay here if your intention is to sleep, it is so loud until I think around 3am, from the bars/clubs below the hotel shakes and the music booms.One of the worst stays in a travellodge because I needed to sleep the day before the Cardiff Half Marathon, it was bad enough they increased prices by 700% for their captive audience but you’ll slowly go insane and then if you have to get up early you’ll get around 3 hours sleep.If you need to sleep go elsewhere.

The rooms are fine. The noise from outside is actually awful. I know it’s not exactly the hotels fault as there is 2 layers of windows to try and lessen the noise, but the fact of the matter is I stayed here for 5 nights and every night I was awake until the clubs shut as my room was thumping and I could hear everything.

Travelodge Cardiff Central Queen Street
We stayed here for one night and felt we had good value for money. The check in process was simple and was advised about breakfast times and even the happy hour at the bar. All front of house staff were very friendly. The room was budget and to the usual Travelodge standard but spacious enough for our stay and included a fan and tea making facilities. The bathroom was of a decent size and fully functional. The room we was allocated was on the first floor and we heard very little noise from the bustling street below. We will stay again when in the area.

This place has recently been refurbished. Our room was a spacious family room at the rear so no noise from the street. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Would use again.

The team is amazing, the location is the best and the beds are so comfy. Just the bathroom is really needing an update and the ventilation and fan were not ok neither. But if you are staying on the center for a couple of nights is so good. The elevator needs some cleaning as well. But i was gonna repeat bc i felt so well attended, they are so helpful and the bed was so good. Wifi signal a bit weak
