Visited today with our kids, never really fished before but found the owners/managers really helpful. Picked up what we needed in the shop then drove round to a lovely spot on one of the lakes. Thanks to some great advice & coaching from Max (employee) we caught our first few fish! We will certainly be back!

Excellent fishery, loads of Bream, carp etc. Had a breakfast there years ago but need to go back and try it again. Very friendly people, good onsite tackle shop. One to visit if you haven’t done so already. Currently fishermen only due to the restrictions. Permission will be required before others can accompany you on the lakes.

The plant shed has fabulous well looked after plants and the owner is very knowledgeable. The cafe was clean, friendly staff and not too expensive. Although I only purchased a drink, the food looked good.

Normally like coming to this place but was “greeted” by a grumpy lady who was cleaning and looked at me and my partner in utter disgust when we walked in the cafe at 14:15 today.Said hello politely and did not even get a reply - just a blank look. Very rude and will not be coming back purely for this lady’s attitude and manners.Food lovely and chef was friendly.
