St Teilaw Church, Llandeloy

A beautiful but rather poignantly sad church. It is owned by the Friends of Friendless Churches charity which take disused churches under their wing. The churchyard is not cared for by them and is extremely overgrown mostly. The church needs a good clean - I may return with a dustpan and brush! It’s covered in dust and cobwebs. There is a visitors book and leaflets, all quite damp. But the church itself is beautiful, small and highly unusual with its raised gallery. Pretty stained glass windows and a peaceful air.

I live in front of it. Unused, overgrown grounds. Still a beautiful building though.
