This was the 1st wedding dress shop i went to & found the perfect dress, both hannah & nicky are professional and will help you pick out dresses to suit your own desire. I had alterations on my dress and straps added, the alteration lady they recommended was lovely and did the perfect job.I felt like a real life princess and would recommended this lovely little shop.

Bride 2 Be took what should have been the happiest and exciting time of our lives and turned it into a nightmare of stress, anger, uncertainty and disappointment.The dresses arrived in the wrong colour, obviously this worried us as it was September time & we marry on the 3rd November, but the bridal shop assured us that the dresses would be here intime. The month of October was by far the most stress we have unnecessarily received. The bride had to continuously chase the shop for updates on the dresses, one of the main reasons we came to Bride 2 Be was for a stress-free experience. On the 24th of October the shop calls to tell us that the dresses are now stuck in customs and will not be released until the 31st. We inform the dress shop that the timescale now is simply unachievable, that would give us just 2 days to get the dresses tried on & altered. The Bride requests a full refund, the shop says “that’s not going to happen” and tells us the owner will ring us tomorrow. To say we were disgusted by this response is an understatement, and conveniently the shop closed before we were able to call back. The next day the shop calls and strings a story together about pushing the dresses through customs, of course we had no assurance this was actually happening. At this point we also questioned the shop about Compensation, the shop told us she would speak to the owner as it was a massive mistake they had made. The dress shop promised to ring us back on Saturday with an update, they did not do this. Not even a call to say unfortunately there isn’t an update just yet, we just got nothing, clearly our huge issue was not at the front of the shops mind. Finally 31st arrives, and the dresses have arrived at the shop! The shop calls the bride and tells us the long awaited news, she says the dresses are ready to collect as soon as she receives full payment. Full payment? We ask, had nobody discussed compensation with the owner? Well, they had, and the owner instructed the shop not to release the dresses until full payment had been received. The shop told the bride that they could not offer compensation because then they would be out of pocket.I informed the shop that they need to take responsibility for their actions, which I was responded with “haven’t you ever made a mistake in your life”, this response was laughable, I genuinely could not believe I had just been asked this by a person that had caused us so much emotional and financial turmoil, someone who had taken the joy out of what should have been the most exciting time of our lives. The phone call was horrendous, we had every right to be angry, the dress shop did not. In our opinion the attitude we received was disgusting. The next day we go to the shop to discuss the issue with the owner, this meeting was seemingly a waste of time because the owner mirrored the same unapologetic attitude. The owner actually told us we were just trying to get leverage over her, after a while, the owner called the alterations and told them over the phone that she would pay half of the balance, then came to the Bride and said “did you hear that”, instead of paying the bride the slightest bit of respect by informing her to her face. The half balance did not meet what we deserved, especially when considering the deposits lost on several cancelled alterations appointments. We actually only got the dresses back from alterations on the day of the wedding at 9.30am, when we married at 12. The end result is that the actions of this shop took the joy out of the happiest time of our lives, myself and the Bride both agreed that we weren’t even excited for the wedding anymore – we were just looking forward to it being over.At the end of the day, the compensation would have just been a bandage on the ordeal – we will never get the joy from our wedding back, and for that I will never forgive the Shop (if we were even offered an apology) - and to the Shop, who thinks I am trying to get leverage over you by writing this review. I am gaining nothing, you have our money and our happiness.

Fabulous experience! We are from Cheshire but have driven past this boutique, to visit relatives who live in the area, since our daughter was a young teenager. She loved the dresses in the window and we always said she could choose a dress from here, when she was getting married. We were not disappointed when this time finally arrived. Our daughter had an appointment on Saturday, 13th May 2023. Nicky was amazing and offered lots of different gown styles and advice. A perfect, dream gown was chosen. The whole experience was truly amazing and lived up to the vision she has held onto. Thank you for making our daughters dreams come true, when she said yes to the dress" after all these years! ❤️"

Bride 2 Be was the fifth wedding dress shop I went to, desperately looking for my dress. I was close to giving up, and honestly felt like I was never going to find something I loved.Nicky's shop felt different, right from when I walked in the door. The variety and choice of dresses she had, and the care she clearly took with every person, was incredible. Nicky listened to what I wanted, let me try on some dresses I picked - and then picked the dress she knew I'd love.I will never forget that moment, looking in the mirror, and knowing that I'd found my dress.I can't recommend Bride 2 Be and Nicky highly enough!

My friend booked me in here as this was where she bought her daughter's prom dress so felt this was the best place for me. This is totally out of my comfort zone, I hate clothes shopping and live in my gym stuff or jeans so dress shopping is next level uncomfortable. I'm particular in that I'm not a girly girl and thought I'd struggle to find something simple and elegant that wouldn't cost the earth. I showed them some styles I'd seen online and they put a selection together for me. Talk about hearing me!! The first dress she got me to try on was perfect. They were so understanding of my needs, calm, helpful and supportive. They were amazing. I highly recommend bride2be.

EDIT: I am now 6 months pregnant and have since tried the dress on - 1.5stone on and a baby bump later and the dress fits - truly laughable. Still not received an apology.Hannah as a bridal consultant was absolutely brilliant and found my dress within minutes of me arriving very stressed and frustrated at not being able to get what I wanted. She was so attentive and kind and really took the time to understand what I wanted.However, when ordering my dress, I was strongly advised by the shop to go for the size of dress for my biggest measurement, this was my bust which was very slightly into the next size up (two sizes up from the sample dress, which had zipped up but was tight on the bust). Despite both my mum and I agreeing that one size up from the sample would suffice, given the sample had zipped up, the shop strongly advised to go on their recommendation based on my bust size.When the dress arrived in December the shop themselves commented that they should have ordered the size smaller, and reassured me that it would not be a problem when it came to alterations.The seamstress was fabulous, and really worked hard and tirelessly to get the dress to where it should have been, however, due to the dress being so big on me the seamstress was only able to take it in so far to not alter the actual dress style itself. This meant that it was now too big at the back and on the waist and provided very little support across my bust. The seamstress said that she did not understand why the shop had ordered this size of dress and had the smaller size been ordered it would not have been a problem. The seamstress noted that before any alterations had taken place, on wearing the dress it looked like I had lost over 4-5 stone it was so large on me, when actually - I had lost less than 10lbs from purchasing my dress to my first fitting. Following alterations I could very easily fit my arm down the back of the dress as there was more than a two inch gap, despite the seamstress adding in larger padding to support my bust, I still had to constantly fix my bust position due to the dress now offering no support whatsoever.When arranging collection of my dress just over 2 weeks before my wedding, I mentioned my disappointment over the dress and the anxiety I had felt due to this. I was told that had I have called after my second fitting (3 weeks before my wedding) they would have been able to sort this out and order a new dress urgently…but as I had left it so late there was nothing they could do. The lady I spoke to insisted on this being my issue as ‘the shop can only advise on what size to order’ but having never ever ordered a wedding dress in my life, both my mum and I were going off advise off the consultants who we assumed would be experts. I felt this was poor from the shop, and it did not help my anxiety or relieve my stress.On collecting the dress, we were asked where our double duvet cover to collect the dress was.I had not been told about this, and despite my mum having vouched for me - having been at every fitting and also having been in the room while I had been on the phone to the bridal shop, the lady who greeted us insisted that it was definitely us who had got it wrong and not them, and frankly was rude in doing so!My dress was truly beautiful, and every bride should feel like a princess on their special day. And I did. But I did also feel self conscious and unsupported in a dress that when I purchased made me feel incredibly confident and supported. I did feel this tarnished how much I enjoyed my day, as I felt incredibly self conscious when having pictures taken, and have been very nervous to see photos from both our professional photographers and guests due to not looking how I would like to have looked. I was very disappointed in how this was handled by the shop. I was not asking for anything other than compassion and an apology but this did not happen.Photo attached to show just how big the bust was.. it doesn’t show how big it was on my waist. It makes me sad to look at my wedding photos too.

Amazing Amazing Amazing... After looking around in different Bridal Shops and not finding my dream dress and not having the best experiences, I contacted Bride 2 Be straight away I had a good vibe from the shop I spoke to a lady called Nicky and she booked me an appointment to come in and have a look round at the dresses. The day came to visit Bride 2 be I was nervous as soon as I arrived Nicky made me feel welcome and at ease, nothing was too much trouble I wasn't rushed or pressured into anything as I had been previously it was a fabulous experience and I found my dream dress. It's beautiful and I can't thank Nicky enough. I highly recommend Bride 2 Be it's an amazing start to your wedding journey ❤️

The experience of watching my daughter trying wedding dresses on was lovely they treated Lynne like a princess and nothing was to much trouble even made us a brew when Lynne chose her dress there was tears all round they made it very special thank you so much would definitely recommend going here 100%
