Indie Fude (Comber)

My wife and I got married in October 2019 and had the pleasure of having our alternative wedding ‘cheese’ cake provided by Indie Füde. We initially saw this unique idea at a wedding fair in Belfast and were sold straight away.We visited the store in Comber and sampled various cheeses to create our perfect 5 tiered cake. We loved that all the cheeses were locally sourced and came with all the accompaniments including crackers and relishes. The cake was beautifully presented and we had so many fantastic comments from our guests.For anyone looking for a cake that stands out, I would highly recommend Indie Füde for your big day.

Great selection of local cheeses. There's also a delicatessen, ice-cream, lots of confectionery and condiments. It can be pricey but worth it for the quality and to support local businesses.

Excellent products.Indie fude is a brilliant place to visit. It is definitely not somewhere to do your main shop for the week or month!But.It is a place to go, so as you can make the regular delicious ingredients sing!!As corny as this sounds, it is definitely what occurs.Go to supermarket for a cheese board.Get the basics, and then go here for the extra outré cheeses. Then get the crackers. What about some charcuterie? Some nduja? Some sourdough bread? Some local honey? Some pesto? Taponade?What about some local meats?And obviously the many sauce varieties to accompany you choices.Definitely worth a visit.Bring a big bag, and a big wallet to pay for the quality of the product.

This is a brilliant healthy and natural food shop in Comber. They have a good range of ice cream flavours and a terrific amount of cheeses from all over Ireland. They serve tea and coffee to takeout.

Great deli if you are seeking Irish specialities but not good for things foreign.

Great to see this kind of food shop in the high street. I love being able to buy locally and seasonally. A brilliant gift for friends (especially not from NI) is a hamper of delicious local cheeses and other deli items. Makes you proud to have such fabulous products at hand here. Thank you Indie Füde. Another establishment that makes Comber one of the greatest towns on planet earth (IMO). All sorts of interesting food and of great quality. I regularly visit this spot and I would encourage anyone to if you haven’t already.

Great little shop with a wide selection of Irish produce as well as further afield. Great for meat with some more unusual cuts in stock. Fantastic cured meats I particular. All in all a perfect deli store.

I used Indie Fude for some hampers around Christmas and they were great. The receivers were very happy with the products and what made it better was it was all locally sourced! Highly recommend for gifting and just a wee treat at the weekends!

Really knowledgeable and helpful team, super interesting cheese counter and delicious set of house condiments. A must see destination
