Silverline Blackburn Ltd

Booked online a few days in advance, was given no confirmation and when I called in advance was rudely told I would get a call the day before.Unsurprisingly this never happened so I made other arrangements resulting in an angry phonecall when we weren't there for pickup.

We're in the middle of a pandemic and there was no screening between me and the driver (is that not a requirement) he didn't wear a mask and spoke on his telephone for the duration of the journey. Twice I asked him to put on a mask, but my request was ignored. Its no wonder this virus is spreading at the rate it is with businesses failing to adhere to government guidelines. Absolutely terrible!!!

I, for some strange reason went to go silverline taxis to get dropped off for appointment. I had made the call at half 1 dinner time wanting my taxi to come at 3:50. That is a huge time gap for them to sort out a driver to come to where I am and comfortably take me to my destination and appoinent on time.This was not the case at all becasue they arrived fifteen minutes late making me reschedule my important appointment.

Fantastic service. Staff at Blackburn Royal Hospital ordered taxi to take me home to Ribble Valley at 3.30 in the morning. Polite, friendly gent came in to hospital, automatically picked up my hand luggage and helped me to vehicle, as I had a stress fracture in my leg. Same procedure at other end. Can’t thank them enough! Driver was pleasant and very chatty.

It had been snowing, and about 2 inches of the white stuff was on the ground, this so called taxi company refused to take any bookings. Bare in mind I used to be a taxi driver myself, (and a good one) back in the days before sat navs and mobile phones. I drove in snow far far deeper than what pitiful offering was on the ground when I rand silverline. Due to a medical condition called Menieres Disease I can no longer drive. Hence me calling for a taxi, it wasn't just this company I rang I rang several and all told the same sorrowful tale. My advice get some PROPER DRIVERS WHO CAN DRIVE WHEN THE WHITE STUFF IS ON THE GROUND. If I could leave a ZERO rating I would!!!!

This is a rubbish service. They are ripping off customers. When I phoned the 03/09/2022 agreed £14 for my journey and driver charged me £20. The driver is also so rude. Please avoid this company.

Disgraceful! Blackburn hospital booked this service for my mum. The driver was rude, abandoned mum in her wheelchair in a deserted basement corridor, telling her ‘time is momey’

Booked a taxi via website. At the time it was due to arrive we got a call saying the price on the website was wrong so it would be an extra £9 and that it was only then being arranged to be sent out...poor service all round.
