All In One Group of Companies - Builders in Barnsley

The All in One Group refurbished a dilapidated property I purchased in Barnsley. They were from the beginning, very obliging and helpful and the work done was carried out to a very high standard. The house required complete re-plastering, new kitchen and bathroom and much more. By the time they had finished it was like a brand new property. I had a very good working relationship with Chris, the MD and his staff. He kept me informed of progress at all times and I intend to use the company again on future projects for my property portfolio. The company have agreed to let and manage the property for me and I am hoping to let it out soon. Thank you very much to the All in One Group.

The All in One team completed our extension last week. Programme was pretty much as advised before they started, as was price (any variations agreed beforehand). Really good customer care, many complements from passers by regarding tidiness and consideration to neighbours, which was a key factor in us choosing AiO Group initially - thanks to good management by Chris and Paul who were on site daily. Very high standard of workmanship, thanks to excellent site team - without wanting to miss anyone, big shout out to Paul, Matt, Jamie, Andrew, Phil and Kevin...thanks very much guys! Would definitely recommend.

The All in One Group have recently completed the build of our single storey extension. We had a conservatory removed, extension built and knocked through to create a large open plan kitchen dining area. All in One have managed every step of the build and we have been kept informed of what was happening throughout. The team are all amazing, Matt, Andrew, Tom, Kev, Ryan, Jamie, Paul and Phil who were all friendly, polite and more than accommodating to any of our requests along the way. They turned up promptly each day and the site was always left clean and tidy at the end of each working day. The project was managed by Chris and Paul who were on site almost daily to check we were happy with everything and the result is fantastic with high quality work throughout. I am sure to the lads they are just doing their job, to us they have created a new home. I would have no hesitation in recommending the All in One Group.

The All in One Group has recently completed a single storey extension for us, along with various other refurbishments through the rest of the house. They really are ‘All in One’; they handled absolutely everything from start to finish, right down to fitting the carpets.The whole team has been superb from our very first meeting, where Chris and the team welcomed us to their offices to discuss our plans.Chris, the Managing Director, is very hands on, and was on site almost daily, along with the project/site manager Fletch.Communication was faultless throughout the five month project. Always solution-focused, Chris kept us updated regularly, taking time to listen carefully to what we wanted, guiding us when we were unsure, negotiating with us if what we wanted wasn’t possible and responding cheerfully when we added extra touches or made changes as the build developed! On the odd occasions that Chris was away from work, Fletch took over keeping us updated extremely effectively.All in One weren’t the cheapest quote and we initially waited around eighteen months for our build to start, as the company is very popular, but it was definitely worth the wait and the cost. We were attracted by the complete service that is offered, as well as the fact that they undertake buildings inspection work, which gave us confidence in their professionalism and compliance with standards and regulations.Once we had our plans from the architect and had obtained planning permission, Chris managed all the liaison with the local authority.When it came to choosing fixtures and fittings, Chris suggested suppliers from whom we could chose, then All in One dealt with the ordering, delivery and fitting. They were also flexible and happy to order from new suppliers as well as installing items we had ordered ourselves.The project management was excellent, we knew exactly who from the team would be coming to do what at each step of the build. At the end of each day they cleaned and tidied the site before leaving.We found every single member of this skilled workforce to be friendly, respectful, responsive, trustworthy and good humoured and all went the extra mile, offering help wherever it was needed. We would like to offer special thanks to Chris, Fletch, Andrew, Kevin, Matt, Jamie, Danny and Cameron, and apologies to those we’ve missed, as they were all excellent!The finish on our new build is outstanding; we couldn’t have asked for more.Chris and the team are committed to not leaving the project until the customer is completely happy and that certainly was our experience. I also feel confident that the team would be responsive if any post-completion issues arise, although I don’t expect any.We would definitely use All in One for any future work and would highly recommend them.

Excellent from start to finish. Build work can feel daunting when there is so much at stake (money, time, trust) but Chris and his team at All In One Group take the stress away. They are transparent and fair traders, professional, tidy, respectful and feel like part of the family! When you lead a hectic life juggling work and family, the last thing you need is project managing a build or having your home turned upside down. Chris has done brilliantly project managing all his tradespeople so that it minimised the impact on our home life. All the dots were connected and jobs were done in the right order throughout. The work took longer than expected due to many unforeseen circumstances (which we’ve had our share of!), but the team dealt with this best they could, and went the extra mile to deliver on new requests throughout.A huge thank you to everyone who has had a hand in creating our big new space! I shall strangly miss having you all around! The quote of the past year has been ‘Doesn’t matter, you can have what you want!’ (Chris et al 2023!)Ps- pencil me back in for a fast track on future renovations please!

AVOID. All looks great on completion (which is when they ask you to post a review) but within a year I have 6 leaks in my roof, one of which came in on my child’s head during the night. Leaks still ongoing. You get 1 year warranty which says it all really. I’ve got a longer warranty on my hoover. Leaks still going on every time is rains 5 years on. I’m in a right mess and they lied to me saying this company has gone into administration when it’s still active. Poor quality, poor workmanship. I have this in a written report from my home insurance. Please don’t get stung by this company and their false promises (they are very good at talking the talk). My extension was for my son who is disabled.

Chris and the team have absolutely amazing. We have had an extension and refurbishment of our existing property. They have done a high quality job.Chris and Fletcher were pretty much on site daily during the project to ensure the build is going according to plan. Several architectural issues which were not addressed on the plans by the architect were resolved in house by All in One.Chris and Fletcher have always been available when I call them and I have called them a lot. Chris gave me regular updates during the project. All in One take care of everything including all the external contractors (roofing, garage doors, bi-folds, etc). which makes the whole process less stressful.The lads on site have been amazing, polite and courteous. The neighbours have been very impressed with their professionalism and had very positive things to say about the team.Special thanks to Andrew, Kevin, Matt, Phil and Jamie and anyone else I have missed out. They have done a high standard of work. They were always very accommodating, polite and very professional. They always turned up on time.I am very happy with the quality of their work and I would highly recommend them !

We always wanted to extend our property but finding the right company was something that we did not want to rush into. We wanted to complete this project a couple of years ago and enquired with many companies but none of these gave us the confidence to go ahead ....until we came across All in One. We are so glad we did as we could not be any happier with the final product that this team delivered!Every single workman that turned up at our house were so friendly and polite. This was also something our neighbours commented on and they also commented on how no disruption was caused during the project.The team were very clean and tidied up at the end of each day. They turned up daiy and were always really approachable. The work was always completed to an extremely high standard and this was monitored daily with site visits from the management team.Taking on a project on your home can be a big step to take. However, from day one, Chris and Paul were extremely friendly and reassured us every step of the way. At times, we were worried and had many questions to ask but these were always answered in great detail which put us at rest throughout the process. We were very grateful for their re-assurance,advice and expert knowledge.We thank you all very much for making our home become our forever home. We are over the moon with it and it was by far the best decision we made in choosing All in One. It is perfect!
