Went in for an MOT.Failed on the squib (which is a part behind the steering wheel that controls the buttons,horn etc on the steering wheel).There had been a clicking then the horn stopped working.It had gone previously so I knew it needed replacing for the horn and buttons to work again.They told me that replacing it might not work so I needed to pay around £150 for it to be put on the diagnostics.I asked them to just replace the squib because I knew that was the problem.They rang me back the next day after ‘fitting’ it to tell me that after replacing it (the squib)the horn still wasn’t working.I knew for a fact they hadn’t fitted it correctly and were wanting me to pay to put it on the diagnostic machine.So I picked my car up and took it to my friend who showed me that they had indeed not fitted it correctly and had not connected the wire for the horn!My friend reconnected the wire and it passed the MOT!!It just makes you think that how many other people do they do things like this to and overcharge for things that don’t need doing!Disgusting as I paid for the labour that wasn’t even carried out correctly!!Would NOT recommend this garage as they arn’t honest and will try tell you things are wrong with your car when they are not!
