Charming and down to earth establishment. Really amazing selection of beers. The staff are excellent and as well as friendly really know their stuff and will be able to give you good advice on their stock. Lots of local brewers as well. The kind of place that beats a chain supermarket hands down every time.

I think even 1 star is too much . The mid age woman was so rude there and didn’t care about the customers at all. Need some serious training ! We pass that shop quite often but will never go in again !!!

This is a great little shop with a very fine selection of wines (many not easily available elsewhere) and an excellent selection of craft beers (now including some pretty good alcohol free ones). If you are a sherry drinker, don’t miss their Leith amontillado. And take with a pinch of salt the complaints about rude service. Never experienced that myself from any of the staff. I find that if you are polite and friendly to people they respond accordingly.

Love this fantastic local booze shop which I've probably visited too often:) Interesting wines, beers + great selection of cocktail worthy spirits. Proper Leith shop that's been awesome for nearly 20 yrs. I feel old.

A terribly rude middle aged woman with dark hair served us today. We were passing and spotted a beer in the doorway that we hadn't seen since visiting Germany so we decided to pay the shop a visit. NEVER again! Barely an acknowledgement from the woman serving before she literally threw the card machine across the counter at me. Strongly suggest some customer service training, or perhaps basic interaction skill development. Otherwise a well stocked, if overpriced, little shop. I'm all for paying a little extra for the convenience of having imported goods in one place if the service is at least civilised. But not here, not that abysmal woman.

Great selection. Might need to update prices, two Leith Juice at £2.99 was £6.58. Never noticed until I was home, no big deal as more than worth it, but wanted to call it out just on the off chance the prices need updated on the shelf labels.

This is a brilliant local shop, with plenty of selection. Always go in to buy the prosecco, leith gin and even tonic. Staff are really friendly and always get a great laugh with the owner who is so nice!! Keep it going folks.

Terribly rude woman serving myself and my friend today at Beets asked for recommendations on beers and couldn’t give us the time of day despite having an empty store, virtually threw our purchase back at us, no manners definitely put us off purchasing gifts from here as we do for many family birthdays
