Looking for something we couldn't find and after 3 walks around we asked a very helpful member if staff who walked straight to the item on a racket the back (we had checked the area 3 times with no luck), he rang it up on the till and we were away within a minute or two to fit it!

Went to choose a child car seat. Young man assistant was extremely helpful. Sadly the one I chose was not available but has now been ordered & he will ring me when it arrives. Superb service. Very impressed.

Excellent service by excellent, helpful, honest and friendly staff! Just what you expect from Halfords!The indicator light wasn't working - l thought it was a bulb, but Mark found the bulb was ok and got the indicator working properly, promptly.!No wonder Halfords have such good reviews!

Appalling, the reversing camera couldn’t be fitted because they would have to strip more than one wire, which is against company policy !!!They had been trying to fit another customers camera and tried to then charge me £40 although I’d already paid in full.Absolute shambles, I will take the camera elsewhere to be professionally fitted.

I was helped by Sarah and a young lad with shortish dark hair. They were both exceptionally helpful after I stumbled in blindly looking for a headlight bulb. Their customer service skills were absolutely flawless, and they both did above and beyond the minimum, they even offered to fill up a water bowl for my dog. Wonderful staff, more than happy to leave my car and keys with them whilst the lad whose name I didn't catch checked over my car. He found a cracked window wiper and showed me the damage and the options for the replacement, rather than just sticking the most expensive one on and not showing me it was broken (despite me being clueless) and giving me a bill at the end, which he could quite easily have done.

After going to a different Halfords branch and getting fobbed off and told I had to go to a garage, I just popped into Halfords St Andrews Quay on the off chance. The lads couldn’t have been more helpful. They got me sorted in 10 minutes. Best £27 I’ve ever spent. Highly recommended.

The only snag with the place, and something that I never realised until our last visit, is that there is no lift. We had a 2 year old in a buggy which we had to leave downstairs then proceed upstairs.Not a satisfactory solution but we found what we wanted. A decent selection of pedal bikes, the electric version was on the ground floor. The staff were pleasant enough and the place was gearing up for the Christmas period.Not many in the shop when we visited which suited us. Plenty of cycling accessories but not all on the mezzanine floor. Just under an hour and we were done, I have had business with this shop before. We didn't shop around so we don't really know if prices are competitive.
