GEM old highgate office

Sadly, Gem is really struggling, they cannot complete even the most basic repair, which is not good for a repair company. How did the company get so big? How is it still making money? Left a leak in my property for months. Still not fixed and can’t even get a date on when they will fix the leak, not even a month! If it wasn’t so serious, I’d laugh at the incompetence.

Reported no heating to this contractor (and Camden) several times since it stopped working in October. A few days ago I requested temporary heating and was told I’d have one that evening (didn’t happen), reported again yesterday and was told I’d have one that evening (again- didn’t happen). Hoping that the third time is the charm as I’ve reported this again and been told that I’ll receive a heater by this afternoon- still waiting…….. hurry up GEM my kids are freezing.

NO HEATING HOT WATER FOR MOST OF THE WINTER ON THE LYMINGTON ROAD ESTTHEN THEY SAID THERE WAS A LEAK AND COULD NOT FIND IT!!!!THEY EVENTUALLY FOUND THE LEAK AND DID A TEMPORAY REPAIR ON THE PIPE WHICH MEANT DIGING UP THE ROAD AND PUTING UP FENCING ROUND THE HOLE.SIX WEEKS LATER THEY CAME BACK TO REPAIR THE PIPE WHY COULD IT NOT HAVE BEEN FIXED WHEN IT WAS FRIST FOUND?FOUR WEEKS AFTER THE PIPE WAS REPAIRD THE HOLE WAS FILLED IN.BUT 3 WEEKS ON THE FENCING IS STILL ROUND THE REPAIRD HOLE. WHICH IS STOPING THE DUSTCART GETTING IN TO THE MEWS AND CAUSING LOTS OF PROBLAMES FOR THE RESIDENCE

Contractors and suppliers will rarely get paid, elderly customers left to freeze in winter. ex employee here and we were treated so Poorly clearly the focus is on profit. If you can, avoid dealing with these lot

Oh dear, mid winter and no heating since Oct. bunch of cowboys. Horrid customer service. 5th time I've log a fault radiator, They send out an engineer to tell me the same problem every time but no one seems to be fixing the issue. Appalling service, My home is freezing cold. I think I'll have to pay a private engineer to come and look at it for me at this rate.

Rubbish company, don’t know how they win a contract. Been waiting over a year for them to fix an issue in my flat. Each time a person comes who doesn’t have the skills or equipment to do the job, and they just report it back to their office. Very frustrating. Hire some engineers who know what they are doing

Absolutely terrible service. Waited 4 weeks for them to come fix a radiator TVR and some damaged pipework. When at last they finally did turn up they didn't have the part so rebooked for another day saying I'd be a priority because of the leaking pipes. 4 more weeks on I still haven't seen them. I phoned the customer service number with some questions only to be spoken to like something that leaves ur body when u squat.... STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE!!!!! If you dont make sure to log the names and times of all workers that come to ur property and all the people who take your calls as I can guarantee youll need them!!!

Not even worth 1 star. Customer service staff are rude and completely unhelpful. Keep sending engineers who cannot complete job, seems as though there is no communication between staff as they never have the necessary parts or knowledge to fix the issue that has been ongoing for months. The worst experience I have had with a company in my life.
