Boots Pharmacy

Wait times to pick up prescriptions are absolutely shocking. Clearly very understaffed. I have to come in monthly and it is always the same. It's a busy shop and management at Boots need to address this.

My biggest issue is they close for an hour over lunch everyday but it’s not published anywhere. They have a poster on the door but not even the Boots website confirms they close.They also rarely answer the phone. Otherwise when you go in they are always helpful and serve people as quickly as they can.

Long wait times, poor stock quantities. Seems under staffed and over worked. Multiple times have had a prescription be missing items and have to come back another day

Avoid this with all costs.Lazy staff, rude and no apologetic after waiting 15 min for a shelve product ....

Understaffed, generally closed at lunchtime. Doctors next door will send prescription over and say it's there within an hour - no chance

I really object to stating my name and address and my medical matters outloud inside a busy store when collecting a prescription. What happened to their GDPR obligations and protecting my personal data?I understand that they have to go through an Indentity Verification process but these staff seem to have no regard for customer privacy or Data Protection at all. Really annoying!!

It is not advertised on Google profile or website that they close for lunch. Cannot drive due to my illness so have walked down (with vertigo so not easy) and they are shut. Now have to stand here an hour. Please could you sort yourselves out and get more organised with your communications! You are supposed to be here for people who are unwell and we need to be able to rely on you.

I have only given one star I have been using this chemist for nearly two years now to collect meds for my disinter who has learning difficulties. Certain members of the staff are very rude to myself or other family members collecting meds . And have experienced their rudeness to other customersYou order tablets and they are never ready when you go to collect after 48hours being told now that it is now 3 working days before collectionI have been a week later to in collect and still not ready . I’m normally a very patient person whoDosent like to moan but it’s the rudeness of some of the staff I am getting upset about so I’m changing chemist now

How can it take 40 minutes to collect a prescription and to be told by another customer who was waiting too, that this is normal. No apology or explanation for the waiting time given. Obviously this local pharmacy provides an inadequate service to the community. Do not use it.

Incredibly disorganised. I’ve been trying to pick up my medication for 3 weeks and never in stock or hasn’t been ordered. They never answer the phone and they’re opening hours don’t work for anyone who works 9-5 and the close for an hour over lunch so when are you supposed to pick it up! Some of the staff are lovely but most ignore you, refuse to make eye contact and are not helpful, it’s just ‘sorry we don’t have it’ . . . With no offer to help or offer any suggestions.It’s also not fun standing in a queue for 30+ minutes each time to be told they cant help you, sometimes outside in the rain as the pharmacy is full.I’ve changed pharmacies now as it’s not worth the hassle.
