First time here with Mark. I normally goto the barbers, but have always come out being unsatisfied and has felt rushed. Mark did a great job, listened to what I wanted and really took his time with my hair. Friendly service, listened to what I wanted and delivered. Will be coming back again!

This salon is a lovely, warm, friendly place. My colourist was incredible, really talented. I had my hair cut and style by Steve and was really happy with it. The products they stock are super gorgeous. All round a great experience! Thank you.

First visit to Oliver George, really lovely salon. Good Covid procedures in place. Mark listened to my thoughts around a new hair style and made some great suggestions. Very pleased with the finished cut and style. Made to feel at ease by Steve and enjoyed the hair wash with some excellent products. Will certainly go back. Thanks everyone.

I visited this salon last month for the first time as we'd just recently moved to Chester. The service received was outstanding. Sarah done my colour and highlights and Stephen done my cut and blow dry. They were friendly and professional. I couldn't have asked for more.Tbe best hair result I've had in a long time. Highly recommended.

Everyone at this salon is lovely! Sarah colours my hair and Marks cuts. Sarah is fab, I am comfortable letting her do her thing as she always gets it right and Mark gives honest feedback on what will & won’t work for you and always does great work. 100% Recommend.

I chose this salon based on its appearance (which is lovely and very trendy) and on the almost entirely positive reviews.The salon is, indeed, very nice and welcoming. Sadly, though, I've wound up with the worst haircut I've ever had. After a very clear discussion about what I did and did not want in terms of look, I got a cut that was exactly what I explicitly stated I did not want.I managed to hold back my tears until after I left -- hoping against hope that what I was walking out with was something I could improve with my own styling. Not the case. A month later and I'm still stuck with a terrible, terrible, terrible cut that I can do nothing with -- it's too short for me to even be able to pull it back.This was a salon experience that managed to ruin not just my day but my entire month -- and who knows how much longer until this mess grows out.Proceed with caution.

After both my wife and daughter booking to have their hair coloured several weeks ago this week it suddenly became a problem doing them both. The owner has just reduced my daughter to tears with his arrogant and rude attitude. My daughter explained a week ago she couldn’t go in for a skin test until today as she was away at university but she had her hair coloured there before. She was told that’s fine but come in this afternoon for a strand test as her hair was previously coloured. After cutting chunks of her hair to test she was told well we’re not doing it because of covid 19 and the skin test being too late anyway.My wife and her mother before her have used this hairdressers for many years but never will again. Not wanting to colour her hair was one thing being outright rude to a customer is something totally different.When I rang to complain about his attitude he was totally indifferent and hung up on me. Someone needs some lessons in customer care reducing people to tears with your attitude doesn’t make you a big or clever man. You should be ashamed of yourself.
