Audio Video Medic
Audio Video Medic was a lifesaver for me. As with all vintage hifi equipment, options for repair are few and far between. I was very glad to find AVM - the service was top-notch, completely professional and very reasonably priced. My tape deck received a new belt and motor and is now restored to full working order!

Mark was very helpful and provided welcome progress reports.He successfully renovated my direct drive Luxman PD262 deck, which with age had developed a major wandering speed issue to rectify.A replacement to the ortofon concorde 20 stylus was needed and he sourced a far more attractively priced compatable alternative.He then completed the job by installing improved phono and earth cables. It was a value for money experience and my old deck, which I didn't think anyone would repair, sounds great again :)

I contacted AVM because I had an old but once good quality amplifier that I hoped they might repair. They responded promptly and offered to run a diagnosis (at a reasonable fixed price). The diagnosis identified a complex but reparable combination of faults. I authorised the repair and the total cost was a quarter of an equivalent new amp of similar quality. I am delighted to find the amp fully restored. I found the whole process very satisfactory, and conducted with professional skill.

I’ve used Audio Video Medic three times now on my Audiolab gear and fixed everyone ,even sorted out the processor on my Audiolab AV amp. Very Very good prices and a lovely man to deal with.I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a problem with their hi-fi gear.

Mark managed to resurrect my 30+ years old Marantz CD94. It has never performed as well in my ownership, I cannot praise him highly enough.
