This is my current school, I am in the 9th grade and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. The teachers are great, the school is great and the lessons are so so.

Used to go here for two years, probably enough to get serious trauma. Zero communication between teachers regarding health conditions in students, no actual medical room for someone to lay down in case of an injury or issue, and frankly the only sensible teachers have left. Teachers don't care about your child's mental health, and I've met with some which critisised and made students feel ashamed for having conditions they cannot control. This is coming from a top set student who struggles with mental and physical health issues, and I'm genuinely disappointed with how this school endangers students to more complications that they don't need.

The staffs are working with dedication, selflessness and tirelessly to impact knowledge in the pupils. The staffs are very amazing and outstanding, right from the reception to the SLT to the canteen, kitchen, classrooms, laboratory and the entire management team, they're really doing a great job by improving the school. If your child love sport and extra curricular, it's a state of the heart here too.To crown it all, the sky is the limit for any child that really wants to learn here.

Horrible school. I had worked for them for a month, hired through agency. In 1 month, I had seen adult teachers, pinning down, cornering, chasing, screaming, insulting, and manhandling the kids, especially the kids from primary. Special needs children are treated with disrespect and disregard. One child who was suspected of having ADHD was constantly being cornered, pinned down and screamed at.The SEND specialist at the school should have known how to handle such a situation but they relied on physical force to get the child to listen. I have managed to build a good teacher student relationship with some children and they have all expressed their concerns and worried about the way the teachers treated them and most felt unsafe at the school. When you try to express such concerns, the TA head and the head of year would not listen and brush it off. Many times I had to sit aside and watch them manhandle the children. I thankfully left the place after 1 whole month but I still regret not making a formal complaint to the head of year.

Please don't send your children to this school. This is a long review, read if you want to.I've been at NIA since year 7 and as the years progressed it's just gotten worse. The school spreads misinformation and just general lies about potential 'exciting' opportunities. Staff members promising student exchange programmes with the US, life-size go kart construction and formula 1 style racing and trips (wether abroad, national or local) which all never actually happened. There was a new member of staff that acted as a head teacher but wasn't actually the head teacher, meaning that we had no head as a school. This member of staff held assemblies which introduced us to the numerous of schools to which were 'transformed' and shared hopes of making the school the same. Even other staff members expressed their trust in this staff member. What happened in the end? Nothing. The staff member left as soon as a new head teacher was introduced. Not to mention this head teacher did not even last a year, and soon we got a new one, again not to mention the previous head teachers. To make things clearer: yr7-yr8 first head teacher yr8-yr9 second head teacher yr9-yr10 third head teacher yr11 fourth head teacher. Due to these rapid management changes, the school is EXTREMELY unorganised and at most times frustrating and even unprofessional with how it addresses us (students) about these issues, mostly blaming our behaviour on their misconducts. It's a shame that the few staff members who were at this school have left or are not recognised by upper management.Particularly in year 10, I had a new form tutor who was also a new business teacher. He was a fantastic teacher and form tutor (with his help I got a 9 in business in year 10) but the school heavily mistreated him. This teacher was able to see the issues with the school and wanted to help out, so he requested that he be in charge of some of the organising and management around the school. He was denied. Another instance was that one of the year 11 students at the time had gotten violent with him and when he reported this to staff, there was no acknowledgment. As a form tutor, he was super friendly and created a comfortable atmosphere as he was very approachable and noticeably cared about how we felt and what our thoughts of the school (and in general) were. In my experience at this school, not a single form tutor behaved in this way. Understandably, this staff member left. After his departure, my grades in business heavily dropped. It wasn't a huge decline at first, going from a 9 to 8. However, by the time I was nearing exams in year 11 I was getting 6s. I am extremely disappointed that my potential to succeed was wasted by this school. During my grade's decline, I had multiple business teachers in total 3 different ones in the span of a year. There are thousands of more things that I can say about this school (like the harassment in the hallways) but I think this is enough. Thank you if you've read this far.

Appalling school. Management don’t care about their staff and constantly put them at risk. The level of unprofessionalism is outrageous and upper management do not care about the safety of the children.

I have been going to this school for over a year and it is HORRIBLE if I could give it a 1star I would . I could not count the amount of times I have nearly had a mental breakdown they treat students like a piece in a board game, if you struggle in that school they will just leave you behind to struggle. The only help they offer you is an interventions and they do nothing to your learning . Most of the time the learning is complicated and doesn’t make sense. some questions on the tests don’t make sense and are too complicated , there is not a correct answer for it. And staff are extremely rude they are also super strict about the toilets because the teacher will have to email someone to come and escort you to them and 99% of the time they never show up. I mean the staff treat you like robots thatI really hope this makes sense

It’s an okay school, it’s not as bad as people describe it. There’s a few things that annoying me tho like, getting detention for the dumbest reasons and the teacher not letting you explain and that they care more about your uniform and your attendance then health, but definitely has improved since last year (from what I’ve heard)
