Excellent staff, very busy salon. Was made to feel welcome when I arrived and was given a nice coffee while I waited as I was early.Love my hairdresser Dani who has recently moved to this salon. She always has a good chat with me and knows exactly what will look good with my hair.Dani fixed my awful balayage (from another salon) and made sure my hair was perfect before my wedding last year.

I visited Sand for the first time today after a pretty awful experience at another salon. Linda got my hair back to the exact colour I was after and she was so lovely! The gentleman who dried and straightened my hair afterwards was also lovely (so sorry I forgot your name!). The salon itself is gorgeous, really peaceful, really clean and exactly what you’d want from a salon. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming and they’ve definitely got themselves a new regular customer! Thanks guys, today has really rebuilt my confidence ♥️Sara Hughes

i have been a customer of Sands for over 21 years and have never been disappointed I have had many restyles and new colours during this time following consultation with both Paul and Dani and have loved them all. i love changing my hair.Last week I had a complete change of colour i had discussed this with both Paul and Dani and they encouraged me to go for itThis was a long process as my hair had to be stripped of colour completely a bit nerve racking but I had every confidence in Paul and Dani. Paul followed the colour with an amazing cut. A week later I am still buzzing my friends and family love it too. Very very friendly staff, all of them are so happy to chat to you and you don't feel its forced. You also don't feel everyone turns to look at you when you walk into the salon, which I have felt in previous salons I've been to. It's got such a lovely relaxed vibe feeling. The washers are really comfy, you can have your legs raised if you want to so it takes the pressure off your neck. I highly recommend the salon!

My favourite hair salon in Altrincham - always bustling and full of energy. Everyone gets to know your name and once you go there a few times, so will all your family! There's a stylist there for everyone and they always take really good care of you.

Excellent service. I called in on the off chance at a very busy time. Made to feel welcome. Chatted about hair colour to Meg. She came up with good ideas based on a very strict “do not cover my grey, compliment it!” Made an appointment. For someone who is a salonphobe I had a great time and I cannot believe the magic Meg weaved through very thick, long hair. Blown away. Thanks to Michael for putting up with my rubbish jokes! Highly recommend.

A big thank you to Sands for continuing to provide a great service for me. They have been cutting and highlighting my hair for the past 15 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. All the staff are lovely and a special thanks to Tim for always making my appointment such a joy. I always leave feeling happy and with a bit of a skip in my step.
