Johns Opticians

I've been going to Usman for a couple of years. He identified my cataract problem quickly, where others hadn't. He organised for surgery quickly too. The glasses I've had from John's have been very good quality. Not cheap, but lasting well. The lenses are high quality too. Usman clearly is professional and I recommend him.

Johns opticians are the best. I was in need of new sunglasses (I broke mine) they pulled out all the stops to make sure I had them within a short time as I was going away. Everyone at John's are so helpful, friendly and give very good advice. I have been going to John's for the last few years and I will continue to do so.

We went to Johns because the new glasses my husband got from my usual opticians were not correct - he couldn't see properly in them and this was seriously affecting his daily life. He had a thorough eye test, which showed up what the problems were with the new lenses and also the fact that the glasses did not fit properly, which meant they were constantly slipping down.My husband now has new glasses and all the problems have been solved, so his life is much easier for him.All the staff were lovely and we will be going back to Johns from now on.

After previously being let down by High Street opticians and after having John’s Opticians highly recommended to me, I decided to give them a go-and I am so glad that I did! I was immediately struck by what a professional, friendly, top quality service I was receiving. Usman the Optometrist instantly put me at ease and explained each stage of the eye test as we went through the thorough examination. Raheela the Dispensing Optician then made the usually overwhelming and stressful experience of choosing glasses enjoyable and fun. She gave her expert advice on styles she thought suited me best. It was a very positive experience from start to finish and I am so pleased with my glasses. I would definitely recommend this excellent service.

Very happy. My optician closed down so needed to find a new one. Very pleasant staff and I had a very thorough eye test. A little more expensive than I was used to but worth it I think.

My previous optician was very highly rated, so when I moved to the area I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find one of a similar standing. However, having been a customer of Johns Opticians for 6 years now, I can honestly say that I needn't have worried. Usman and the team give you all the time and attention required, also being very friendly and welcoming. Eye tests are extremely thorough and in no way rushed, as is choosing your eyewear. I've been very happy with the service received and look forward to many more years as a valued customer.
