Paul and Karen Tubbs from Oakwood Flooring are skilled craftspeople and did a fantastic job of fitting parquet flooring in our house. They are professional, knowledgeable and skilled. They are also really nice people. In the end they also project managed our refurbishment because we were not living in the house at the time. They have lots of contacts and found us electricians, painters and roofers.I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Oakwood floors have just completed a project for us, laying a parquet floor in two rooms. We cannot recommend them too highly - they are very skilled and take immense care in their work. Their attention to detail and finish is exemplary. They are also reliable and competitively priced.

A friendly, professional team who provided a detailed quote and delivered on time and within budget. Our period property threw up a few challenges along the way, but these were well managed and the floor looks great.

Paul and Karen fitted engineered wooden flooring and installed our new kitchen. Both Paul and a Karen were lovely. They really cared about what they were doing, kept us informed with any issues and would always discuss options with us and encourage our input. They were approachable and always responded to queries which was so refreshing compared to some other experiences! I’d definitely go to them for future projects and highly recommend them.

Paul and Karen built an outside deck area for us to our spec complete with planters. They did a great job, at a very reasonable price, accurately estimating how long it would take and were generally very amenable, even working through some pretty hideous weather. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and everyone - and we are really happy with the end product too!

Oakwood Floors and Kitchens were extremely professional, polite and timely with their work. We had a full kitchen remodel, that came with a variety of issues on supply. Paul and Karen dealt with everything that came their way; including working around poor wall measurements, broken and missing items and more.The kitchen despite taking longer than anticipated, looks great, with no issues to name. Highly recommend using Oakwood Floors and Kitchens to anyone in the Brighton and Hove areas.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Oakwood Floors & Kitchens. I think they were probably the best value, best service and most professional of all the companies we’ve used during our house renovation. I wouldn’t use anyone else to fit flooring in the future. Our parquet flooring is my favourite part of my home.

Oakwood Floors and Kitchens
Paul and Karen overhauled damaged flooring in the loft conversion of our new home. They replaced damp and water damaged insulation and chipboard, and installed high quality engineered wood flooring. The job was high quality and completed to time, while Paul and Karen were a pleasure to have in the house. We particularly appreciated their expertise and advice with a number of renovations we're considering. I wouldn't hesitate to call on their services again and very happily recommend them.
